Boss drops
"In campaign, you only get the guaranteed Rare item the first time you kill each boss. In maps you always get it."
Why not just always get a guaranteed Rare item"."? Most people will just rush through the campaign anyway, and it could help lesser skilled people or just people who feel like they need additional power to have a boss that they can kill to farm it a second or third time to try and get a better item. Also, and ESPECIALLY during the campaign, mainly after my SSF experience, it'd feel good when re-doing a zone to have that yellow drop that sells expensive or just to farm more shards. (like when you need to respec a lot because you tried stuff... With everything you spend your money for shards or just upgrades... Well... A little extra wouldn't hurt!) The question that you should ask yourself GGG : What is the downside of someone who would farm a boss again and again during the campaign? They might need to do it eventually, when they realize that the game has 12 classes and 12 different types of weapons.
This will be very tricky to solve, as you can make any archetype with any class, and you cannot simply rig loot like in diablo. |

I agree on this, I didn't even take into account that you could loot the wrong weapon, or the wrong armor-type... I just had thought about the idea of being willing to farm a zone... And a campaign zone too, so it's not "efficient"... So I don't get why making the loot guaranteed for the first kill only.
