Volatile plants visibility.

I was checking the trade site just a few days ago, there was a nice pair of boots - the perfect upgrade for me, and I would likely be able to survive a single invisible and silent volatile plant explosion with it - it was for sale for only 250 divine orbs.

Yeah I'm not playing the game long enough to amass 250 divines as things are right now.

But this is the Jonathan's vision bro, not to stand in a corner and press one button for clearing. He thinks that a skillful player will use mind,fingers and good cooperation with others to survive while clearing monsters.

They usually kill me after every enemy is already dead and I'm picking up loot though. Because they spawn off screen and you can't actually see or hear them at all if they are behind walls or other cover.
Anyways, I'm kinda done for the season in any case. Got my atlas completed except for the higher arbiter kills, but I can't be bothered to farm that stuff.

I'll check back next season to see if volatile plants have been fixed though!

It's not just you sometimes those projectiles appear out of no where with no visible sign of the plants spawning.
they are fine on regular cases but on ritual, maybe a bit too much xD

seems like there are over 10 sometimes and then there are monsters to body block, stun or push you around

Just read the thread again.

Anyway I'm glad to hear that a fix appears to be in the work. Supposedly 50% of deaths are to volatile plants, which is funny considering that neither 10k ES builds nor CI builds are anywhere near as affected. Sounds like basically 100% of life/evasion char deaths are to volatile plant oneshots.

Chase the orbs, do not flee from them. Deciding when they go pop makes them much more manageable.

And unless chaos res is very low they shouldn't be 1 shotting characters. At 4.5k ES / 60% chaos res it takes 3 to kill my character.

Turning off the labels by hitting Z is very handy when getting swarmed.

The orbs are so bright now that no amount of enemies can obscure them.


think is they do the same damage from campaign all the end to endgame. So by the time you get to 4.5 HP you have died several tiems to them... they are the bane of hardcore players
Actually they are way worse this season. On my Pc they actually disappear and then randomly reappear and kill me. So ya as annoying as they can be I can live with them. If they don’t just randomly materialize and one shot me.
