Taking the portal in act 3 always takes me to act 1 cruel instead of Utzaal

Hello.

I wanted to party with a friend who's still in act 3 normal. However when it's time for me to go with him through the portal, it takes me to act 1 cruel instead of act 3 normal and to Utzaal's map. I can't even teleport to my friend once he's in Utzaal, and he can't open a TP himself because it opens it on the other side of the time portal...

So I can't seem to be able to party with him and play the Utzaal part anymore.

I can't get to Utzaal either via the main map, I just don't see it.

Anyone knows how to fix this? I don't think the portal should take you to act 1 cruel.

I can get the Act 3 map to flip back and forth between the Present and the Past, but it's fussy. It seems that you can flip your map depending on where you enter the Gateway (from which version of the Ziggurat Encampment).

There seem to be three Ziggurat Encampments:
- Present encampment with a waypoint
- Present encampment without a waypoint **
- Past encampment (with waypoint)


a) If I enter the Gateway from one of the Present Ziggurat Encampments, I enter the Riverbank in Cruel. If I then portal back from the Riverbank, I end up at the "no waypoint" encampment.

From here, go to hideout using /hideout and see which Act 3 map you have. I have managed to repeatedly switch my map to the past map from the present doing this. I was then able to access Utzaal.


b) If I enter the Gateway from the Past Ziggurat Encampment and then portal back from the Riverbank, I end up in the Waypoint version of the Present Ziggurat Encampment, with access to present zones.


c) It doesn't appear to just toggle every time you enter the Gateway, because repeatedly entering the Gateway from the Present doesn't change the map.



Other comments:

i) I'm surprised that you can't teleport to your party member using the blue swirly icon on their character portrait, but I probably haven't tried this myself. Does remaking the party help with this, by any chance?

ii) You can in some cases use the Temple of Chaos as a means to access a different map, usually the Present map for Act 3. This will depend on which of the Temple of Chaos waypoints in Act 3 and Act 6 you have activated. If you have only activated the waypoint in Act 3, travelling there will give you access to Act 3 Present zones from its waypoint. Once you have activated the zone in Act 6, it will take you to the Act 6 zone.
