Footprints not showing

I have the King of the Faridun body armor equipped. For the chest I picked tier 2 (the one without the legs).

I bought the Delirious Footprints effect and "equipped" them. The footprints do not show up when using the "floating" armor.

Maybe it is intended but it would be a shame that footprints do not work with "floating" cosmetics.
