Player power is so high that it is ruining the game. 1-button screen clear is BORING.
I believe the devs are heading the right direction..
PoE 1 zoom zoom loot piňata PoE 2 meaningful combat Problem is that PoE 2 was rushed and so A LOT of content was just copy/paste from PoE 1. At some point, the older brother will have to let go, so the younger brother (PoE2) can explore the world. In other words, I believe you will have to stop merging all the formulas and design between PoE 1 and 2, because they are really two different games. And you audience is very clear about that too. PoE 1 new season launch 150k active players.. Not even a half of players you get on new season of PoE 2. The bigger community is clearly towards slower gameplay, more people can relate, feel the story, get pulled into the game. End-game is where we are losing players for now, because it again becomes zoom-zoom and players are no longer engaged in the game, just pressing 1 button. That gets boring quickly :) |

Stop pretending there is a bigger community asking for the things you ask for; stop pretending there is only one type of player liking PoE2; and stop pretending a fast playstyle is inherently more boring than a slow playstyle; all of that is just you taking a whole lot of text to say something as simple as "I want the game the way I like it". And for crying out loud, the phrase "meaningful combat" means absolutely nothing. That has just become a placeholder phrase for "I have nothing to say, but I want PoE2 to cater to my tastes, and my tastes alone". The only thing boring right now is posts like yours, not PoE1 or PoE2... |

i don t care if maps continue to be braindead, but at least pinnacle and bossing needs a complete rebalance
that said ive completely lost faith in GGG to do it. even at current COMPLETELY BRAINDEAD state, the game seems to still have a floor of difficulty that s too much for some, including some poe 1 players and at the same time having a pathetic low roof. which is a problem for retention even in HC SSF the only threats were bullshit like volatiles or multiple projectiles in a mob that can cast '' chaos circles '' i can t imagine playing SC if hc is as braindead as it is that said perhaps some of the people here are right and arpg are fated to be monkey level games and i should play exclusively pvp games or at least pvep games like mmos it s a pity because the boss design, the weapon design and the core mechanics of this game are beautiful แก้ไขล่าสุดโดย Chimpandre#5492 เมื่อ 13 มิ.ย. 2025 17:48:02
