The DPS and Defense requirements to beat end game version of Balbaa are ridiculous
is there a bug with the endgame version? the other day i noticed i was not able to run over the coins. I'm pretty sure i could do that before, but maybe i couldn't and just didn't notice before.
edit: i think it is bugged i see people talking about the mechanic in another thread. Anyway OP in situations where it's not bugged you're supposed to run over the coins (yellow circles on the ground that become shades). Balbala/Pirasha will teleport to the coin and destroy the coin with a slam. This is how you keep the number of shades manageable. Or you increase your dps and just dps her down before the shades get out of hand. แก้ไขล่าสุดโดย Cult_of_Resine#3258 เมื่อ 30 พ.ค. 2025 01:43:47

Find a broken build to do our end game content that only 1% of players can access. But you better do it before we nerf your build! Feels like I'm on spinning wheel with water at the bottom constantly struggling to breath as I spin in a circle with water shooting up my nose.

" Maybe try learning the actual mechanics, skills and passive tree. There are plenty of builds, no one is forcing you to be a meta sheep but you. |

I found this boss to hit particularly hard in comparison to others bosses.

Meh, it's perfectly fine that some bosses are a bit harder than others. It's not like Balbala is unmanageable.

" i literally told you how to beat the boss in the post before yours. When she throws a coin run over it and she will destroy it before it becomes a shade. Just don't get hit by the slam. |

" This is just a knee jerk reaction. Some bosses are going to be overturned and it's okay to nerf them. Bosses on the same waystone tier should be roughly the same difficulty level. แก้ไขล่าสุดโดย vexorian#9572 เมื่อ 30 พ.ค. 2025 11:12:13

" This is a true statement on principle, but none of the bosses are overtuned atm. |

" It's been a couple of weeks since I joined endgame. At my current power level I am mostly breezing through tier 3, including bosses. Last night, I was doing tier 1 to test a couple of tweaks to my build. Honestly, I wasn't expecting tier 1 Balbala to still be problematic. And in retrospect, Defeating Tier 1 Balbala last night was easy. It was just a grind to move around while spamming dps for 5 minutes to get rid of the clones. Balbala's (Pirasha's) dps wasn't really doing anything to me. The shadows' dps wasn't that much of a big deal either. Just the risk of getting surrounded and locked into place. Now I am reading in this thread that there's a way to prevent the clones from spamming. And that sure sounds like a solution to my problem. That's a mechanic I wish I learned a long time ago but somehow I didn't and I think that might be a problem? Because it means this boss is not effectively teaching its thing. แก้ไขล่าสุดโดย vexorian#9572 เมื่อ 30 พ.ค. 2025 11:17:35

" I agree. Players are otherwise trained to avoid ground effects so it’s not obvious that they need to run over the ground effect in order to make the fight much more comfortable. |
