Since today the game crashes when I click "create new character". I see the screen with the banner and then it crashes.

I reinstalled the game it still crashes.

It would help a lot if we knew what was recorded in the log immediately prior to the crash. As the issue is still reproducible, please cause the game client to crash again. Then - without opening the game again - open the log file in Notepad, scroll all of the way to the bottom, and then copy 'n' paste the last 10 lines here into this forum thread. To find the log file, just open File Explorer and copy and paste the below into its address bar. Any questions, just let us know!

P.S. I've waited few minutes before clicking "Create New Character" and there were no logs for that event na button press. Last entries were from loading the game.
Does the crash still occur if you change the renderer from DX12 to Vulkan or DX11?
Imagine the lack of introspection that would be required to spend your spare time telling people they’ve posted in the wrong section of some company's forum, only to then try accusing someone else of brown-nosing.
I have just installed the standalone launcher and was able to create character no problem.

I guess I will leave the stand alone installer for character creation.

Both Steam and Stand-alone use the same Graphics configuration.
