Allow modders to elevate your game.

Just with a simple rule. Only allow QOL improvements, no mods that play instead of players allowed.

TBH I want some customization or visual guide to track my buffs but I need indicators to upkeep certain stuff.
Ie: a shield icon around my character that I have successfully kept my Towering shield buff up.

Same for enemy debuffs. I could get use of a debuff tracker on enemies. Dot builds sometimes needs to be refreshed you know...

A delirium recipe tracker?
Or replace distilled essence description to whatever they do.
replace the
Can be combined with other Distilled Emotions to Instil Amulets
with Notable Passive Skills or Waystones with Layers of Delirium

to
Ire:
Can be combined with other Distilled Emotions to Instil Amulets

On waystone use
Players in Area are 7% Delirious
20% increased Magic Monsters

"Crafting" window:
I would even pay for a mod that would show me a result of possibilities of using a currency item.
Like you open a crafting window, and on a screen you get a list of possible result
A sideoption of adding omens.

+ result change highlighted. It could be just visual effect to see what even changed.

Im sure some players would like the wows favorite "deadly boss mod" where you only get an alarm of lethal attacks, or when you stand on deadly ground.

The best mods could be with time implemented to the game. Or could be a "developer recommended option".
CitiesSkyline makes an amazing job with community co-op. Yes, that's a sandbox simulator, but that's why I said, autoplayers and autoclickers are still banned.

You are missing the point, they SELL you the cosmetics that do this.

Actually I did, and my statement still stands. Everything he describes is currently sold or will likely have an equivalent in the MTX store. How is that not accurate?
Think ggg is against this kind of stuff for a couple reasons.

1) it affects the marketing and the 'shared experience' of the game if theres dozens/hundreds of customized UI floating around. It becomes less recognizable and new players can be confused when they start playing and the ui isn't what they saw showcased in someone's video.

2)stuff like deadly boss mods can be a slippery slope into automating more and more mechanics. (Eg, noise alert when character should drink flask soon becomes -> auto hit flasks when life goes below x%)

3)some parts of the game are better off not being hyper-analyzed and instead learned through getting a feel for it.

4)every so often they do add an MTX that has similar functionality to this kind of stuff. (Helm that tracks # of trades, map device that records # of maps run, character effect that makes a laser beam pointing to nearest rare monster, etc.)

No, you didn't read anything.

OP is talking about QoL mods that synthesize hidden game data for easy access. Now while I have never played POE1 and can't say what has been offered in their MTX store, I can't see any of what OP is suggesting being implemented by GGG.

You were talking about cosmetics. That's a world of difference.

There is a tab to your top right that would reinforce my point and clarify things.

So which microtransaction give me the craftofexile window?

Where the MTX that shows what mod been changed on my item so I don't have to play "guess what changed?"

Where the cosmetic that shows me [Towering shield] buff, because currently I have to keep open character stat screen to see if I have the extra block chance. (my build have both [Lay Siege] and [Offensive stance] so that +20% damage is not something to ignore)
Maybe there's a visual buff where my warrior have a stronger grip on his shield, but sorry if I cant see that in that visual overload...
But its ridiculous that its a really impactful buff, yet its not even on the buff screen...

Wheres enemy debuff tracker cosmetic?
Because currently the easiest way just to not have builds that rely on refreshing debuffs XD

Ah yes... WoW crumbled to pieces because players were confused by HUD builds... a-humm...

Well... arguably we don't even need DBM because if you step into puddle even for a splitsecond you die... On T16 map just tipping your toe into a puddle and your health drops faster than the flask can restore it.
Wonder if low life builds even exist because the time the edge of the screen glows red because you're on low health, you will see the respawn screen anyway...

And no need for DMB when endgame is about oneshot or be oneshotted...

The issue with DBM was in WoW game design that should they design bosses and raids for vanilla players and DBM users will trivialize the fight
or
assume everyone will download DBM and they can add more mechanics to fights?
At some point it just became part of the game...

Meanwhile somehow a 3rd party website loot filter is advised to play the game... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

While people using poe2ninja for buildsharing
and there are currency trackers and trade trackers...

DBM was tolerated always by blizz because it did not played the game instead you. It just warned you to gtfo from the fire puddle or stacking debuff mechanics.

CitiesSkyline was completely revolutionized by TrafficManager mod.

And since you like microtransactions GGG could just easily decide to have their own website of approved mods and being a middle man in a shop where they gladly take a cutoff while promoting the mod creator...

No. Just no.

I do not and will not use TFT.
