Delirium and the fog

I don't want to go on a tangent to explain how badly I dislike Delirium as a whole because I feel like no matter what I say, Delirium itself won't be removed from the game.

In the latest interview we heard that Delirium feels bad because right now it's incomplete, so you start and there's nothing in the middle, only the end.

Whatever. Personally, to me, it's like adding more bronze to a bronze pile, it doesn't magically turn into gold unless you change what makes bronze... Bronze.

Regardless, let's move to the important part which I refuse to believe can't be done:

Remove delirium fog.

Seriously, this is probably the single most obnoxious thing I've seen in any game I've played.

You're (pretty much) forced to boost maps with distilled emotions which makes every single map look like absolute dog water.

it makes visual clarity that is already bad even worse.

The game is full of on death effects, map effects, monster aoe and so on. All of those already have bad visual clarity without delirium fog, and with the fog it's ten times worst.

Can you imagine someone going to watch a stream of the game and all they see is this endless fog, map after map? Well, you don't have to imagine.

Let me say it again:

Remove delirium fog. Not reducing it a little, not more or less reducing it, not reducing it a lot. Delete this thing, erase it from existence, burn its eggs so it doesn't grow again.

I 1000000% agree. I've made numerous posts about this topic.

If I could ask for anything to be changed, it would be to remove delirium fog or at least give us the option to remove it. It's extremely dull and ugly, bogs down my PC performance a ton, I honestly can't think of anything positive about it.

The delirium mechanic as a whole and the distilled emotions are fine, the concept is kinda neat. But the thick overwhelming fog has really got to go to improve the player experience at the very least.

Yea there's also the performance issue. I assume performance will get better with time, or at least I hope, but the fog will most likely always be an issue regardless.
Yea man I completely agree.
You're basically forced to juice your map with the delirium 45%rares or whatever you choose for loot eficiancy and it feels awful to play without any fking colour on your map + the FPS drops down sooo badly.
Remoove it from the game or make the juice equivalent not relaying on delirium encounters please for the love of a mother.
Delirium should just lose the gray overlay. And it gets boring after a while to be a mandatory mechanic.
Sure. Then they will call it nolirium then. How about that?
HC SSF. What else? Ruthless when?
I wouldn't lose sleep if they did.
Personally I like the mechanic with whatever it comes. I look at it "story wise" so I am not bothered by how it looks. The only weird thing, for me, is why the mobs in the little mirrors have the speed of a F1 car, unbelievable how fast those things are sometimes.
At the eve of the end
