Boss literally created the instakill spots too far apart for my build to even come close to gathering them all. GGG has shown an absolutely consistent incompetence to boss fights and it has gotten worse and worse every single new fight they make. Locking the last ascendency points behind this garbage? Did you have the Speed of Hare minor boon active? It gives like +40% movement speed. That should be enough to complete the time trial unless your gear/build has significant -MS components. If so, simply swap them out for the last fight.

Refuse-2-learn issue.
Get movespeed on boots.
Get movespeed on relics.
Get movespeed boon (proper pathing will give you this 80% of runs).
Grab the hourglasses in a way that minimizes the path between them.

Play artillery ballista in this trial and it becomes a walk in the park.

OP has a point. This boss sometimes throws hard to see patterns with one of the spots hidden behind environmental clutter or simply too far away from the main blob. Sometimes you have to do a quick log off and later come to resume the trial from the beginning of the boss room.

The issue with PoE2 and both games in general is that GGG is to afraid to make them "too easy" that the result is often an experiences that is just negative for the player. And the player leaves in frustration, not to be seen back for a long time.
