It is usually very obvious what killed you, isn't it. Last Epoch did it right with displaying overkill damage. Hopefully it makes it's way here, too, but I don't really see the need.
HC SSF. What else?
I am also convinced that sometimes mobs damage is bugged.
Rare monster runs across the screen and onepunch me through 3.5k shield and 1800 hp.
And before you ask "D0 YoU h@V3 MAx ResistaNCes"
Yes, all are above 85% (with chaos true 85%).
Also map didn't have critical chance + critical damage mobs or any double "damage as extra cold/lightning/chaos/fire" or "increased monster damage" or "monsters penetrate" or "- resistances" since I trash these.
I seldom take any damage but when I die, it's either instant or almost instant and I'm res capped.
Death report will reveal the real problem in one shot deaths and thous Devs doesn't want to implement it.

And what is the real problem about?
Of course defences. Especially Armour and Evasion. Becouse in ES you know the max damage you took. Is simpler rules.

Mitigation and avoidance is something that can't be calculated in real time.
Yep I was banned for a couple days for posting true about Critical Kill. Well done GGG!

Well still not playing PoE2 after patch 0.2...is unplayable and flustrated.
And still I have hope to play PoE2 with decent update....maybe next year....
