Lagg spikes - cpu big usage - SOLVED!
This worked amazingly for me! Like others in the thread, I've noticed that you'll ALSO get a lag spike for NPC/Player Dialogue IF it's outputting to the chat!
You can disable this in two ways (both seem to take care of the lag spikes) 1. OPTIONS - INTERFACE - CHAT - OUTPUT DIALOGUE TO CHAT (DISABLE) If this setting is disabled, you'll still hear the dialogue, but it won't appear in chat and cause a lag spike. 2. OPTIONS - SOUND - GENERAL - DISABLE GAMEPLAY EVENT VOICES (ENABLE) This setting will turn off NPC event dialogue entirely. I believe it also disables player character dialogue, but I'm not 100% sure. I was getting really frustrated with all the lag, thank you for figuring it out! |

i found this to be true also. one way i solved it temporarily is open chat and type "/clear" i saw someone in chat post this (THANK YOU, but i cant remember your name)and it worked.

" I was skeptical, but this seemed to fix it. Frames will still lower in massive areas, but that is to be expected. Its the frame "stuttering" that was making the game unplayable. Thank you so much for solution |

Using /cls finally fixed my strange CPU/UI lag spikes. The game is playable again!

ou are a genious - thank you for fixing it - finally I can play without hitting the table - LoL - seriously it was game breaking - now the gme feels quite easy - as I already adapted to the unknown...LoL
