XBOX Series X Screen Whiteout

While playing on Xbox series x periodically when I open the quest map menu it causes the white from that screen to stay when I go back to the game. It varies on the severity, sometimes it's just a few spots that stick, other times the whole screen goes. It also has a slight flicker to it at times. The only way I can clear it is to gate back to town and then go back to the area I was in.

I have rarely had this issue pop up just going into the menus while in game as well.

After I posted this I had it happen to the point I had to exit the game and restart. Loading back to town wouldn't fix it. The entire screen was map colored, though the tags over NPCs and the stash were still visible.

I often have the same issue after spending time in the menu screens, usually requires closing and opening the game again. Quite frustrating.

I run into the same issues if u go into settings and turn dynamic resolution off and back on while its happening, it will fix without a reboot you can also go through s portal. Still annoying but much quicker then a reset. Just learn your way through the menus cause sometimes they wont render either

I tried this and while doing that does clear up the visual bug, it also makes the map exploration reset for some reason, which makes it frustrating when trying to fully explore an area. It doesn't actually reset exploration since checkpoints are still able to be traveled to, just the visual representation of what you explored is reset.

Yeah it just started doing this last night when they put out the update. Super annoying 😑 especially since ive been playing a rarity stacker lately
