Am I the Only One Who's NOT Interested in .3?

So uninteresting that you rolled out a wall of text.
Where do these players get such self-importance that if they don't like the game, then NO ONE likes it? What if GGG doesn't make the game perfect in this patch, then NO ONE will return to the game?

There are games of "your dreams" in which you have fun, like Last Epoch and Torchlight, only not many people play them and they drop after a week. Probably because it's too much fun?

PoE is being developed for a niche category of players who are interested not just in "boom bam, monsters do brrr", but in progress, overcoming difficulties.
This game is like a bicycle. Just because you enjoy the chill of sliding down a hill doesn't mean the whole game has to be built around it. It has to have a price. First you have to pedal up to the top, and the descent is even more valuable.

And at the moment, the unfinished nature of the game and not the best balance, and other problems of the game are not a reason to panic, this is a difficulty that the developers are going through. And players who are interested in their success do not get toxic on the forums, but give adequate feedback regarding their playing experience + wishes and suggestions.

And keep your shitty "The game is dead, no one needs it" to yourself.

I give it until 1st week of October before glazers like moonretealoud are complaining that .3 sucks. Btw, 4k players on Steam right now, and a lot of those are bots... yikes! It's not looking good for the future of POE2. Hopefully GGG can come up with something interesting before Tencent pulls the plug! Oof

It is fine to be skeptical of GGG from patch 0.2, but it almost sounds like you are you are not only expecting things to go bad but hoping for it.
That and you are presuming a lot of things we dont know yet.
And I'm not sure it is a healthy way to look at things I'm the long haul.

You have no idea what you're talking about.
I have critical thinking, as well as a developed psyche, so as not to cry and not to throw toys when I'm not satisfied with something.
I rarely visit the forum, and usually do not write anything under such posts. There is no point, such people are radical pessemists, their glass is half full of shit. At first they radically rake everything into a heap to say that "this is crap, it does not work, it is not fun", and when you say a word against them, they rake in all the absurd radical fanatical theses and attribute them to the opponent. As old as the world.

But I do not deny the problems that exist. But I cope with the fact that I can constructively formulate criticism, and not throw around statements like "everything is bad, the game is dying and another game is the best in the world." And the most ridiculous thing is that you consider another game fun, but do not say what exactly makes it fun for you. After all, everyone has their own fun. There are those who have fun playing poe 2 and those who don't have fun playing poe 1. People are different. Why should the game's vector change dramatically because of a loud minority that doesn't value other people's work at all and can give nothing in return except insults and whining?

Poe 2 will not become poe 1, accept it. If poe 1 is fun for you and poe 2 is not, don't play poe 2. If you don't like poe 2, don't play poe 2. If poe 2 is dead in your head, don't play poe 2. Nobody is forcing you.

As Chris Wilson said: "If you don't like the league, it's okay, come try the next one." If 0.3 is not perfect (and it will not be perfect), I will play until I am interested and then go to other games. It is possible, imagine that.

The ones spreading ''negativity'' are the ones making the game better. You guys that only know making reverence to GGG for their ''vision'', no matter how bad it is, are the ones stopping the progress of the game.
If it wasn't for the ''negativity'' posts, we'd still be with 0.1 loot plus 1 tablet per tower.

Let the people present their complaints so you can have a better game.

People who give constructive criticism and reasonable suggestions help improve the game.

Obviously he cares, he never said otherwise. He literally says he lost faith, meaning he had it at one point.

And all he's doing is giving his honest opinion, all of which are very valid points. And considering 578 000 on Steam alone bought the game, and then that was cut in half with 0.2 and is currently sitting around a max of 10 000, I think it's fair to say he's not in the minority.

We get it you don't like the game.

If it has gotten to the point you don't care about updates and you are even accusing influencers of being paid by GGG for caring about the updates. Then maybe it's time to move on? Like, you hate the game and you don't believe it is going to be better, then what's the point? What do you contribute to this forum? What does being on this forum contribute to you?

It is unfortunately a fairly common occurrence, and im sure alot of people here who have played soulsborne games (or similar) are aware of it.

Everytime they make something new theres a very loud and toxic minority that wants to play the game but arent good enough, so their ego gets bruised and then they get completely obsessed with spending all their time trying to convince people that the game is trash so that they can feel some form of vindication that its not them being bad but the game thats poorly made.

Why is everyone ITT projecting onto the OP?
