Unaddressed issues that 0.3.0 should fix

1. RMT and bots cornering the market - overlooked.

2. Very broken meta skills and classes, separated by huge gap from other, that
are completely useless. Including, but not limited to: skill tree passives, atlas tree and basic game mechanics. (Armor, evasion, ES etc..) - unresolved.

3. Multiple but completely useless unique items - attempted to fix, but failed.

4. Game technical performance, graphic issues, disconnects - some minor attempts to resolve, but nothing of value for the player.

5. Death recap - unaddressed.

6. Auction House - unaddressed.

7. Ascendancy - all player comments ignored.

8. Crafting system - adding more slot machines, instead of fixing the issue itself.

9. Random one-shots, in game bugs, lack of clarity what and how it works (reminding you that the directors themselves showed in one interview, that they didn't know some basics of their own game) and other...

Instead of fixing this, you gave us lightning sorc for 0.1.0.
Instead of fixing this, you gave us lightning amazon for 0.2.0.

I will give you a hint - giving us lightning druid for 0.3.0 wont fix it.
500k players, to 250k player, to 5k now.

Do some meaningful work, instead of lightning druid with micro transactions for it.

5. They have actually commented on why they havent added it (yet), personally I dont see the need for it. But if they can add some simplified version, sure.

9. Ive cleared all the endgame content on several characters and Ive never felt that the game has "random one shots". I pretty much always know what killed me and how I couldve avoided it.

Comparing player numbers from release of EA to at the very end of a patch when everyone has stopped playing and/or are playing the poe1 league is kinda pointless.
This pretty much covers my complaints as well. 5 months with no progress seems a little much.
Now .3 will allegedly be the largest patch which means more failure points.

I believe they should add things AS they complete them. Swords finished at 2:00 a.m. on a random tuesday?
Add them.
Sunday at noon they fix a balance issue?
Patch it then.

With all of the issues you stated, making these named updates after months at a time, DURING EA, feels scummy.
This isn't being treated as an early access title at all.

1. Trying to claim that the game has had zero progress in five months is incredibly disingenuous.

2. When and how they want to release new content is up to them.
I dont see what releasing content randomly vs releasing bigger updates has to do with someone being "scummy".

The problem with ascendancy is that they picked the worst league mechanics from PoE 1, that very limited number of players played, and added them as core mechanic that allows you to progress your character through the game.


And I think that I am not an exception from the majority of the player base, when I say: This is just another "service" enabler for me, that allows me to "buy" progression, instead of actually succeeding in making the game challenging and more interesting to play.

And before some "extremely competent and smart" person decides to argue about "skill issue". I want to point out that one of the few interesting rogue builds that sneak through GGG's 300 IQ balance team fingers this patch, was actually a REFLECT build. And this REFLECT build was not the best way to handle either of the ascendancy. One of the ways was very difficult to deal. The other was totally impossible for obvious reasons.

One would expect, that most builds should be able to ascend, on their own. Considering how important this is for the character.

This is not player skill issue. This is terrible game design issue.

And yes, I claim that the progress is, if not zero, then the closest measurable number next to it.

And I can throw, any amount of currency in your face, betting that the focus of the development is "new class", "new act", "new skill gems", "new micro transactions".

And no progress is being made towards "more crafting less gamble system", "less trade bots more action house", "more useful unique items".

And for stuff like "DEATH RECAP", that we ask from BETA POE 1 , I have honestly lost all hope.

Worst league mechanics (in your opinion).

Personally I think their fine, but if you dont enjoy them (and Im sure alot of others also dont) then thats perfectly fine criticism.

As for builds not being able to ascend on their own this is unfortunately just a skill issue. Ive ascendad on almost every class and it honestly isnt that difficult. Again if you want to criticize it for being too hard in your opinion, then thats fine. But saying that its not doable is false and litterally the definition of skill issue.

Just for simplicity gonna ignore the fact that pretty much everything you wrote is wrong.


Things like "new class, new act, new skill gems, new micro transactions" is progress.

Just because they dont agree with you on whats most important to add to the game doesnt make you correct in saying there is zero progress.

I have no doubts, that the new patch will bring content to the table.
New class, new skills, new items, new act, new "other stuff".

For one specific type of players, this is okay.

I mean, they played spark sorc, and then they played lightning strike amazon.
And in their mind, this is whole different game.

And now there will be a druid, that will turn into giant bear that will piss lightning on their enemies, and they will again - see this is as a whole different game.

I wish those people the best. No hate.

For me, the process of making magic bolts of lightning, throwing lightning spears, and pissing obliterating stream of electricity as a bear, are basically exactly the same.

And the only difference I see is, when some underlying problem is being resolved. Not when some spark, first looks like a spear, then like a laser beam piss stream.

And I do not see either of those problems taken into account.
And I think that those problems will continue to be unaddressed for years.
