Desecrate Focus with Omen doesn't work

How to get a +2 on focus?

Bump.

This absolutely needs to be called out in game whether that be within the item description of the omen or a message before Well of Souls reveal. There is literally no indication that these omens don't work with armour. This is a big oversight.

Tried for prefixes on this armour and got jebaited because this is so unclear: https://imgur.com/a/wJphMn9

Minions feel like such a trap this patch. No perfect essence to get +minion level and cant even use lich omen to get +2 minion on focus

Even with the Spirit Reserve mod equipped on my head and the oracle activated, I can't perform the desecration.
Why can't I use it when the finished product is listed for trade?

Yeah... bumping this thread because this restriction is stated absolutely nowhere in the game. It's not even intuitive that it should behave this way. And when you try to use it on a non weapon/jewelry the only message you get is that the omen is incompatible, which is quite vague. The message should instead read something more similar to what you posted.

Bump, nowhere on the omen of the liege does it state that it only works on amulet, ring, or belt. Very frustrating

If this is the case than it would be nice to have some information about it. Because pre 0.3b I could use it (which i did and crafted a pretty nice body armour for my build with it) now I can't upgrade since I cannot replicate the mod I want on my body armour.

Furthermore, even PoB.db states that some of the mods are available for Body armour via the Liches omens. But those same mods are inexistant in ring/amulet/belts.

In particular, the "Increased spirit reservation efficiency of skills" is shown has available for Body armour via an Omen of the Liege on a body armour, but cannot be acquired on any other gear slots.

I understand that it might not have been intented to let us desecrate those modifiers on body armour and such, but I think since it was available it should stay available or at least give the players another way to apply those modifiers (my personal opinion is that since it was available, and some players built around it, it should remain available....)
