So you are admitting you dont know how to make a build then? Or play?

Melee is not the problem clearly.



Cause this is warrior with a shield skill

Melee obviously, so your OP isnt holding up too much.


Bout as non-meta, melee, and on the lower end of damage as it gets there

If your solution to a mechanic being bad is "skip the mechanic", then what you have isn't a solution. What you're doing is just saying that the fight has a DPS check only for melee and not for ranged, which is just admitting that it's harder for melee.
The biggest issue with this boss is just boss timings are too fast. It should be feasible to stay in the arena and not even attack the boss for 5 minutes and dodge. this fight just has a cluster of stuff being thrown at you constantly.

It appears also that dodge roll gives you i frames from the little full screen wind ability. the chaos balls in particular just come way too frequently.

Also not being able to see the health bar is trolling.

i did this boss with an intentionally gimped character to try and learn the mechanics. What i learned is just get way too much dps if you want to do it in hc.

Health bar dissapears if you die its a known bug.


Place balls correctly, 1:1 same as maven balls in POE1

You can get the blobs away from the boss, yes. You drop them elsewhere and then head back to the fight. Or you drop them on one side of the boss go the other side. But then after 2 drops youreout of places to drop them and u have to back off. And cant damage the boss anymore.

If you get the blobs away from the boss you cant damage him during that time. And thats every time a blob appears so you have 1-2 seconds to damage the boss. You cant expect people to have the necessary dps to kill a pinnacle in less than 5 seconds.

As a ranged dont even have to do thatmaking the fight simply harder for melee and thats the whole point of this thread.

The issue with desecrated ground is that it rprevents life and energy shield recovery. So regeneration and leech and they are a very important part of defense on Melee classes.

So just because the dot is on the ground doesnt mean you cant stand in them for a couple of seconds to deal some damage and then dodge out of the way to recover and continue.

You have many windows that open up time for combo play and sustained dps.



If you cant stand in them for a couple seconds, just to finish up an attack and then dodge;

Its a build issue. The character is simply not ready for this fight.

The clip I linked was 10 seconds, not 5 so I dont even have the dps you think I expect people to have.

Its a pinnacle boss; between tier 1 and tier 2 of the deli/ritual/breach bosses.


Its the leagues main boss, it should be expected for characters to be at that level in their character progression to beat it.

If you stand at range against this boss he simply teleport slams on top of you, you dont stand at range and dps him. Range has to deal with the same mechanics in this fight as melee does.
