Desecrated Ground is a shit design for preventing ES and Life recovery
i tried ranged and it was so boring in comparison to melee because 90% of boss mechanics dont even affect you, you can just sit at max range and dps
So yeah personally i rather take the tradeoff of having stuff like this and have more fun playing melee | |
" That is fine as long as the stuff you encounter in melee are not a basic death sentence. Also what you describe is a design issue with the bosses in this game. With the whole game actually. Ranged is just superior because the devs create stuff that punishes melee more for being melee. Thats alos a very hard thing to actually remedy. There are many things you can do. Bosses changing their attacks depending on how far away you actually are. Or changing their artttacks depending on what attacks they git hit by. It should be changed so that it only stops life regeneration when the character is at over 25% life
For most ranged characters, 25% life + no shield = GG. But for sturdy melees this should be doable. |
