Part of the challenge in ssf is doing the most with what you have.

If you're going to go into ssf and play other people's builds who have required uniques, and you don't already have those uniques - don't plan on getting them.

That's not what ssf is for.

If you want to efficiently acquire gear, play trade league.

I mean, it would be nice for you to at least read my thread. I mentioned that I created my own build and for the best result, a unique is involved.
I think in poe 1 ssf was added only when there was already good background to add it as divination cards and navali prophecies to target unique item drops. Such things doesnt really exist now excluding pinacle uniques. I see navali is added to poe 2 now so prophecies might comme soon and boost ssf endgame a little, and maybe some alternative or straight copy of poe 1 div cards will also come

I read the thread.

You didn't create a build that involved a unique, you planned a build that involved a unique.

Without first having the unique.

You planned a build that used gear you did not have, in a mode centered around using only what you have. Your pain point is not a result of game design.

You are free to migrate the character to a trade league at any time so you can get your unique. However, I'm pretty sure they removed it from the game anyways lol.

No, I created the build from scratch. I played a few characters over time to tweak it.

You assumed that I used someone else's build that requires specific uniques.

The unique was helpful but not necessary. I’m literally running the same build now; I just needed a better spear, hence the thread: the loot scarcity and hunting for 0.001%-chance upgrades in SSF.

It’s the result of SSF’s game design, so you’re wrong.

Your argument is baseless. Maybe try not being baseless next time, okay bud?

I can say the same with the trade league 'choosing to overpower yourself in a game with zero effort and time'

SSF at the moment is not fully functional as the crafting is not on point yet. Many crafting features will come in future updates.

Yeah I'm sure GGG will buff item rarity in SSF, like 1000% base, so more players will move to SSF instead of playing trade league and buy stash tabs. For sure.

My view: SSF needs some long-horizon safeguards. Examples let there be more higher chance in the recombinator at a cost of higher material requirement, increase the chance for perfect/greater orbs drops, more deterministic targeting for key uniques, and reconsidering the 10% XP penalty at high levels if performance issues persist. The combination of ultra-low drop rates, orb scarcity, and technical issues makes late-game SSF progression unreasonably inconsistent.


Read the thread not the title bud.
Everything in this post is kinda sketchy ... look, PoE2 as i see it, a multiplayer game, online, SSF it's there when u need to be creative, but let's be real here. If the drops change, or the recombinator, it will be abused and then lot's of items will flood else where ..
