" I agree. It seems like the idea of a map is now meaningless. Every node is now pretty much the same except for the 'arena' you are fighting the boss in. Might as well just have a list of arenas to pick from and tick boxes for the extra content you want to do. But why even have extra content tied to bosses. Just click on a boss you want to fight or click on an extra content you want to run. Sixty second targeted runs, over and over. And for the adventurous you can click random. It is like letting the kids eat candy until they get sick. Atlas is losing even the illusion of anything interesting to find. Maybe they will eventually add alternate end game content like Delve where it at least seems like you are exploring or progressing. |

towers were kinda cool in theory but once you start grinding for high end gear they quickly fell short, hence why people were so critical of them. Everyone can juice any map now with the right tablets.

Not entirely sure how I feel about bosses in every map, but I very much enjoy the idea of being able to use tablets on any map anywhere.

idk man, i feel you are the minority here.
Running boring maps towards the tower, then boring maps to nearby towers and THEN juice the maps to finally play was very very bad. cant find a way to justify it. Additionaly, if i juice an area, say for ritual, and find it not good i have to go find another set of towers...im bored just thinking about it. Another thing was the tension between wanting to explore and staying in the same place to farm. Just bad design all around. all of the above are mostly solved now thankfully. |
