[3.27 HC] Grey Wind Life Stacking Consecrated Path Totems [Video]
" Question... what ascendancy do you remove for the Aul bloodline? I just defeated him. I guess the duelist nodes. Thanks for the build. It's quite tanky once you get used to the reservation upon taking damage and the sometimes kills me in areas where you keep getting hit but overall it's sturdy. DPS is ok but for some encounters it's lacking so I get to see more mechanics :) You don’t stop playing because you grow old, you grow old because you stop playing.

" Correct. You should end up with Scion / Champion for your first three and Aul for the Fourth. Glad you are enjoying it. Have to say after a couple runs at it I am not so much a fan of the Dissolution of the Flesh experiment. Prefer the build at 17k life and less damage but without dissolution. That said, this is entirely a matter of taste. Mine comes from an HC point of view--dies once in a while is not an option over here. -O |

" Seems like we are saying different things :) Are you removing the hierophant node and keep the duelist one or the other way around? The hierophant one is only good for the +1 totem I guess but it's still 25% more DPS (5 totems vs 4). I'm also not sure about the champion node because most buffs have the "You" or "your" tag so as far as I know they do not affect the totems. Edit: scion can be so confusing haha... seems like I can still assign both hiero and champion nodes while also taking the Aul bloodline. You don’t stop playing because you grow old, you grow old because you stop playing. แก้ไขล่าสุดโดย JohnnyV76#3764 เมื่อ 28 พ.ย. 2025 12:21:20

Great build idea! How would Leap Slam of Groundbreaking totems work in this setup? They are little slower, but PoB says DPS should be higher after all.

" I expect you could slot them right in and decide if you like the playstyle. I believe I playtested with them and decided I liked Conc path better based on feel, but ymmv. Likely this one is a matter of taste. -O |

Update on Dissolution of the flesh:
Running an experimental build using this one last time and this time I have been getting it to work and feeling good. Mistake I made last go around was switching from Champ to Glad to try out the extra block. 25 block is nice, but the Champ taunt combined with the mastery totem taunt is what may make dissolution possible with this build. Really enjoying it this time around--as long as I keep summoning every second or two, get hit very rarely even in chaotic fights. Running 10 tattoos to become bleed immune (so can run soul of Abberath to deal with burning ground) Also flasks on auto for ignite/poison/shock. Bismuth seems best for this purpose. Being functionally immmune to damageing ailments is necessary for using dissolution--at least this is my current belief. Other damaging ground effects are disproportionately dangerous for dissolution--approach with caution. -O |
