Error 403 has been happening a lot for me.

I kept getting that error, then I right clicked the Poe 2 icon and clicked "Run as Administrator" (+ allow to make changes on computer) and then it worked. Might have just been a coincidence but worth a try.

just restart it will start loading again at some point

FWIW I had the 403 error but kept trying to DL the update. It took about 10 tries and it finally worked. So I suspect (as someone else noted) the error is likely related to the massive numbers of people trying to patch.

I have downloading issues also. At least it starts were it stopped last time! So I hope I get it eventually.. This bug ruined my last season start too..

Had downloading issues (3 disconnects), they resolved themselves

got disconnected 3 times from stocholm in a span of 5 mins. Then every minute from frankfurt. Now at 8 or 9 disconnects
