trial of sekhemas cant be done as melee

playing bear druid and lose honor so fast. its imposible do as melee.

Wing Blast is the only skill I've used from Wyvern to space myself as bear main and to setup combo.
I only play SSF and it is my duty as one to inform you of my status.
The trial of Sekhemas should be optional content with some fun rewards and not part of character progression… same goes for Ultimatum.

They are two completely different play styles that require a specific type of build to be successful or need little investment for some builds and way too much investment for others.

Like the endgame, how characters ascend really needs a full rework before 1.0.

in all seriousness, the first trial of sekhema (for litteraly the first 2 ascendancy points) can be done naked if you dont stand in every single hit, other than that farm honour resistance and defense/life relics, honour resistance like all the other resistances caps at 75%, life and defense makes your honour pool bigger, also helps a shitton to invest just a tiny itty bit into defense yourself to make that honour pool bigger aswell
The first two ascendancy are literally free. Sure, it's harder with Mace or Bear but not that much as you can just avoid fighting mobs in Gauntlet, Hourglass and Escape. Ritual can be cheesed by just focusing those skeletons. So just avoid Chalice and you are good if you really struggle.

got it done by lucky. got boon 50% less honor lost boss room.
in act 3 atm, getting bored. zones are too big, run run run...
Almost every single mob got a telegraph slow attack that take like 2-3s where they aim where you were 2-3 second ago.

I done the trial with bear druid and got 1 bad hit during the entire trial and barely loose any honor at the boss.

At the end is learning the pattern but most monster of the first ascendency are simple.... Don't walk and stand right in front of them after walking in a straight line. Again they take 2-3 second to attack and will attack where you were when they started their attack. You just have to walk aside of them and do a bear slam and you got plenty of time to do soo.

"IF YOU STRIAGHT UP WALK UP TO THEM AND START YOU SLOW AS HELL ATTACK WHITOUT BOTHERING TO DODGE AND HOPE IT WORK IT AND CALL IT UNFAIR BECAUSE YOU DONT EVEN WANT TO BOTHER WITH IT, IT ON YOU.

If you have trouble, come back later in a couple level and you be running over the content.
The Trials are the worst idea in any ARPG ever made.
Locking character progression behind it is stupid. There is no diplomatic way to put it; it's stupid.

Schemas is fine, but you should probably use a controller if you're playing melee.
Sekhemas is flawed. It promotes range/mage builds over melee; and while melee "could" do it, there is far more cons to it than pros. I liked trials of labyrinth from POE1, it wasn't "honor based" (horrible decision by GGG), it was similar to chaos trials and was relatively fair across the three architypes.
Overall, sekhemas's biggest flaw is the "honor" system. Not sure what they were aiming for with it and hope its either altered or removed before 1.0. If one architype is at such a drastic disadvantage, it is a bad system.
