[3.1] GLADIATOR 1H+Shield Max Block&Spell Block Tank + a BoR version

Hi I am looking for a cheap super thorn tank duelist build. Dps wont matter much as long as it kills things not too slow.

I have a melee COC fakener now i am looking for an opposite of that build lol

Would this build fall apart if I use the new kaom heart? or may be even kaom root? how about going blood magic keystone? or I still need to use aura?

am looking for a max life+block build with just enough dps

You can use Kaom's heart for a massive HP boost, but you'll lose armour. That's up to you to decide.
Kaom's roots are ok, but unnecesary. Also HP gain, but armour loss. You take Unwavering stance anyway.
Blood magic is not an option, the auras are too good to let go of.

What do you do on curse immune and no leech maps? I was thinking clarity, is there something better?

You can try with clarity, but I'd try to avoid such maps.

hi again, thanks for the advice, I am still torn between A rare 6L chest + Aegis or a Kaom chest+ Lion shield.

I guess I might even need both setup in different situations in late game.

Still too early to tell right now as my duelist is only lvl 20. I am having fun in this build. I added Riposte as the additional counter attack, it seems work pretty well, now I have 2 skill triggered on block = Riposte + Reckoning :D

But it seems to me you didn't consider the fact you would have to use your main skill as a 4-link if you used Kaoms, which makes no sense whatsoever :)

I'm thinking of trying Duelist as Gladiator Ascendancy class in HC.
Can you add any additional comments or tips as far as HC leveling/equipment goes?
Looks like a great guide, can't wait to try it.

Nothing special, the build is HC viable. As usual, go for life primarily when leveling in HC :)

Hi, I finally update my duelist again to this build, but I have some questions;

1- Did you put the passive tree full completed? because the one that I can see is saying '13 points left' , can you put the full one please?

2-In the 4L : Reckoning - Melee Physical Damage - Endurance Charge on Melee Stun - Enduring Cry (used for Atziri farming only!) If I'm not farming Atzitri, witch gem should I use instead?

3- in this one: 4L: Determination - Hatred - Herald of Ash - Tempest Shield I don't understand when use or how works Herald of ash??
