You can drop fortify from your main links and use it on leap slam instead. You get an extra DPS gem slot that way.

It's also a very good option. Just swap the mace nodes for the axe nodes, nothing else to it.

I was studying the tree and making some considerations about an axe version.

Pros:

MORE DAMAGE (A considerable amount of phys dmg)
No mana considerations
Extra aura or buff (Arctic Armour is a good choice I think)
More attack speed
More Accurracy (I don't think this is really important, since both ways the build is dex hungry)

Cons:
Less armor (A considerable amount of less armour, like 40%)
Bit less life (Less than 10%)

Final considerations, if you wanna hit harder go Axe, probably it's better in softcore, but maces still better to tank stuff.

Does it make sense to put in doryani:

cwdt - molten shell - herald of ash ?

Molten shell and herald of ash both gives burning even without crits, and doryani gives them elemental proliferation.

Will it do any difference, or the elemental proliferation won't make any serious difference?

I have changed my build over to a static striker to use a sword I made.

Getting 95k dps now. much better clear speed.

I also got a Taste of Hate flask.

I got this screenshot with flasks up + vaal haste + near max Violent Retaliation Accendancy Passive effect up.

212,000 dps!

Been trying it out as ice crash and really would like some more dps , i may have to try out static strike as in 13+ maps the ice crash dps feels pretty slow.

I was doing 37.5k dps with increased aoe, I dont feel concentrated aoe is useable in any way.
Tonight I tried out phys to lightning instead of inc aoe, that bumped the dps to 48k and I could live with the size of the aoe. (this also makes you 100% elemental)

Short of change skill, replace all accessories with ones that have phys damage or find a gg weapon , i dont have many ideas. It feels too slow doing less than 55-60k but yeah its nice to be immortal , ive been playing variations of this build for some time , even a mjolner one i made myself last league.

A couple things i change in my variation
a)
I really have never felt the anvil is needed for the build , i noticed this first when i played as my mjolner version when i had to play with volls devotion on.
In hideout without tempest im sitting at 61% block, in map im generally at 72% block, ive never really had any issue running that much block I can still face tank bosses.


b)
I wanted to run hatred & ash, but warlords is nice to have for obvious reasons (i would have liked to keep determination but i have good enough gear to drop it)

I use:
CWDT lvl1 \ warlords lvl 5 \ increased aoe (inc aoe not needed but it was in a weapon so i had a slot)

this works fine and with 20 quality warlords the charge generation is not much worse.

I need to chuck vaal disc\haste\inc dur somewhere too, thats rather nice on bosses to bump the es pool

If there was a easy way for this build to get +1 curse that would be dope but the necks are not common and the +1 ring is not worth using.
