End game still a joke.
Dunno... personally "end game" isn't that interesting to me. Then the league seems to drag on too long after the active pop drops off.
Sure on my mid 90's main there were a few days turning on some grinding music and farming maps or bosses was fun. I just don't end up playing my main that much because I funnel the few useful things I find to experimental builds which is where I spend most of the time once I have a "farmer" set up. This league I ran out of things I wanted to experiment with much sooner than the previous. Haven't played in 3 days while before this I was playing for hours everyday (retirement gives a lot of time). |

If you don't take pride in your build and commit to trading I think this game won't be great for you.
Challenge yourself for over item rarity 100%+ in your kit and enjoy better drops and get friends for a guild because finding gear for other people you like is fun imo... Other than that, at the very least looking forward to the next skill lines and I really think GGG needs to add melee weapon diversity (swords/axes) asap because utilizing the weapon swap mechanic is how you salvage a good amount of gameplay fun. |

Is the endgame for this title really intended to be such that the highest maps with max currency invested into them drop basically nothing, and we're instead meant to play hideout warrior, incessantly whispering unresponsive people for trades, to acquire endless bases in hopes of fruitfully recombinating while interacting with a crafting-station object? You can't just log in and play with any reasonable expectation of getting anything useful? I'm sorry, but this ain't it. Maybe PoE 1 got away with securing a consistent playerbase for this sort of thing, a decade ago, but I'm going to go out on a limb and say the average action-game player isn't champing at the bit to get home from work and do this.
