Its a network issue, this is a correct assumption however it is YOUR network. Have you run Wireshark sessions to ascertain faults on your network yet? Have you checked to see if you have any interference, drop off, and or other isolation issues in your signal? Are you not on fiber optic( in 2026 almost if your not on fiber optic, that is a you problem). These are all standard things that you should be doing before you blame someone else's network. Let an engineer explain to you how network works.

You connect to the poe 2 cloud based web severs(aws prob). This connection is done through tls/ssl two way handshake. your machine passes said info into your router, that than routes it thorugh the internet aka other routers to ggg. Their cloud based web server acknoweledges and accepts the connection as long as all packet based credentials and security protocols(encryption, packet headers, etc) are all up to snuff.

You then get to log in and play said game. Now this session is being held together by that two way handshake. it is your network that is acting as the foundational backbone to HOLD THE CONNECTION TO IT. GGG is the one providing all of the services which you are recieving. So if you are experiencing lag, latency, drops, disconnections, and the sort this is what is happening.

Your network card is not holding that connection, it is either timing out, cannot validate and or transmit the proper information, your dns is not properly configured, and or needs to be purged, your internet is not sufficient enough in bandwidth to support said connection, there is malware slowing down your machine and or interfering with your network card, or your machine is just too potato.

None of what I just mentioned above has anything to do wtih GGG. So perhaps you should check into what I mentioned, do some remediation, check your internet, check your rig, and be sure that everything is in order. Now let me be clear here, your video card is important however it has nothing to do with network connections. All it does is provide the graphical input and power necessary to show the images on your screen.

Now if you where reporting black screens, freezes, stopping and then just your charecter zooms ahead at mach 12 then i would say check drivers of your gpu, check the shaders, things like that. From what you are reporting this sounds to me like you just dont have enough internet or yoru rig is trash.

Before you ask my rig is below, you can see the raw difference here and I have never experienced any of the issues that you have. That said if this was a server wide issue, everyone would experience it. This is an isolated issue, to you, meaning it is rig side being in your rig, thus lending more credence towards what I said. That being this is not a GGG issue this is a you issue.

Systems, IAM, Network, Threat analytics engineer signing off now. I hope you learned something today.

Sadly prob wasting your time man. They'll just blame the company instead of trying to fix their own setups or look into potential issues.

Waste of space post...
I tried all 74 different "fixes / solutions / options", replaced hardware. Nothing changed, hence the post.

Unsurprisingly it only happens 1/10 times since last patch... funny how that goes. Nothing to do with GGG ofcourse I'm sure...

Secondly, no-one should EVER have to spend hours changing settings, log files, directories to make a game work, and most certainly not the kind of system based changes people are being forced to "try" just to get it to work. Every week a different issue. It's absurd.

Again, no other game in 30 years has expected it's customers to do this. Nor should they.

For me it's the other way around.

I had DCs before 0.3 like almost every time I teleported. Quit because it took me 15-20 minutes just to go back to town.

Now in 0.3 it never DCed and worked perfectly, but the network lag man... It makes it unplayable. It's 10 times worse than the DCs.

And it started with 0.3.1.

I did not change anything with my Internet during the 0.3.1. update so it has to be something with that and on their side.
Still can't play even without constant DC's, as shaders no longer load properly. 15 mins to load shaders every map, even if I've done the map 50 times already.

3 different SSD's, no difference. Never happened before the patch.

Edit: Tried another map... crashed 4 times.
Broken pile of rubbish. No clue what they are doing.
