Why are other abusers not banned?

Because they wanted to protect Fubgun farming runs and now not allow others to do same because of "server crashes" :D

Basically this change should have been done BEFORE christmas and reset everyones temple also by default so all are in equal state. Now? its pointless as Fub already hsa over 10k divines farmed and many others who managed to get first 20 rooms tier 3 fast.

Why this witchhunt, its just 1 Guy who copy and pasted his farming strat from reddit

Hundreds of other players do what he does, ban everyone? Thats crazy to even suggest
Rikku gets it
Don't blame Tencent for the thing every corporation does. GGG is not some snowflake company who is there for the people all the way.
Really simple, because they did nothing malicious or bannable.

GGG Simply overlooked something that has been done in POE1 for years. Reseting a zone and farming the league mechanic has been used in many previous leagues, so nothing new. Thats entirely how the game works. It was simply an unwanted interaction which should've been addressed in development by GGG.

Banning those people is not right, they played the game as it was intended. They didn't use bugs, glitches, malicious software or anything to get ahead.

-> Reseting a zone in POE is essential and available to everyone
-> Killing the vaal monsters in the event to get your crystal is available to everyone
-> This is exactly how the mechanic is intended to be played. You enter a zone kill them and progress. When you find the fastest way to do it and start doing it is not exploit that deserves ban. Its not even exploit in my opinion.

I hate this new terminology for game exploits where unintended use of a mechanic because considered exploit. Exploit should be the use of bugs, glitches, malicious software or similar to gain advantage and should be bannable. This is not. By putting stuff that are not bannable under the exploit criteria it makes cases like this.

And who are you to give definitions like this? What makes you qualified?
GMo is right and probably remembers when we would farm corrupted area's only to leave if there wasn't a latency spike at the entry of the map to show the map had a corrupted zone and if not we opened another

I'm simply using common sense. Exploit should be used only for banable offenses, something forbidden by TOC or game rules. This will eliminate the constant complains of everybody of what an exploit is if its clear in definition.

Let me ask you this, do you consider ALL exploits the same? Would you say that the "exploit" on level 1 zone to get gems you sell for 25 gold and collect 300 gold to buy a weapon so you have a 5 minute better start is on the same level as an exploit that would abuse a bug to dupe items lets say?

By my definition we know that if theres an exploit there will be a ban so people wont do it.

Now, due to this terminology, if I reset my zone i'm exploiting? Am I exploiting for resetting The blood Aquaduct in POE1 to farm experience and get from 60 to 64 faster? Complete joke, its the same thing, smaller scale.
Common sense? Lesser streamers were banned for using the ritual tablet exactly how it was supposed to be used. GGG simply did not consider that dropping reroll cost to 0 was possible. They got banned anyway. So yea, common sense would be to ban the streamers who abused this exploit, but it won't happen because of their big audience.

Dang, Johny has a point about the streamers who used the ritual tablets as intended getting banned
