My damage right now for ARC is hitting around 350-500k right now so that has been okay but I know I need to get my health to 4K plus still!
Not everyone shares this opinion but I was having the best luck when health was around 2.2k but I had The Agnostic and a huge, ~12k mana pool I believe. Damage was high and all the smaller and medium monsters would just be deleted which allowed for easier dodging of the really dangerous ones that one shot (and would have still done so with a larger health pool). Unless you play a lot I wouldn't recommend a different build although leveling another witch was kind of enjoyable with the constant improvements that could be made. Next league I am going to do better about keeping old gear because that would have made it even easier but I had already vendored or sold all of it off.

The only conquerer that gives me fits is Al-Hezmin.
I am fairly certain he is one of the only sources of large incoming chaos damage, perhaps the lab boss also does that, and if you are running -60 chaos resist as is fairly common it's just always going to be a problem. Once you get damage high enough he is killable without him phasing, just near instant burst is possible late game. Until he is burstable, I don't worry about damage when the poison pool is up and just keep moving to avoid snake hits. Once the poison is gone I do more damage and then run around some more. If I was close to a level I would just avoid the fight, I mean what's the point, it just gets you a Sirus fight which you also don't want if you are farming a level.

How funny, I was intentionally avoiding that fight until I dinged 90 just for the reason you stated. Now that Im 90 i don't care about dying and run around with reckless abandon. lol. I'll worry about grinding more levels once I kill Sirus.

thanks to enki, been playing your build since i started playing poe, harbringer league, always a solid league starter for me....

Your gear is better than mine and I'm doing T16 maps. You should be absolutely crushing T4-T5 lol. How much did that belt cost you? 5ex+?

i dunno, a friend of mine gave it to me since he was done with the league....

Man that's some pretty darn nice hand-me-down gear! Wish I had a friend like that!
So I made a few major changes to my gear and passives, but now I find myself running out of mana all the time. I know it was suggested to try and get more mana on my wands so I will try and focus that, however I'm wondering if I maybe messed anything up by changing passives or anything like that.

Health is obviously lower now, but I don't find myself running into any major issues yet but did get wiped once or twice pretty easily. Sorry for all the questions, appreciate everything!

Below is the PoB what my build was before changing, the life was higher than I remembered at 2.7k. The 30/30 gloves are what really helped me with mana issues but you certainly can get unlucky and run into a streak where they don't proc for a bit and you end up empty. That's generally part of the combo that would lead to a death for me, and is still doing so on my crit Elementalist bossing build.

I would watch mana closely and at empty start spamming flame dash to get away and allow for recovery. If you are going for a level I would avoid rituals, some of the mods are very unfavorable to living and the area doesn't allow for much room to escape. Enki says use Mindfulness on the small clusters for mana regen while standing still but I found that didn't help me much and just went for more mana. I never solved the mana issue, perhaps others have and can weigh in. That's one thing I really like about Necro, mana is almost always full and Arc is doing full Archmage damage because the mana is there to spend and then it's back again for the next cast. On the other hand I had the Enki version up to 5.7m damage but Necro is only 2.6m and the single target damage is atrocious in comparison.

Even with full investment into mana regen/mana recovery I always had the feeling that it was a little subpar.
I recently switched to Hierophant with an adaptation of this build and mana regen is way better.

One thing that can help though (and that hasn't been mentioned before as far as I can remember):
GGG fixed the issue with low lvl Arcane Surges overwriting higher lvl ones.
This means that if you get a Divergent Arcane Surge and link it to Arcane Cloak, you'll have 100% uptime on your lvl 20 or lvl 21 Arcane Surge.
Together with the bonusses on the tree from the nodes around Arcane Dynamo (or/and from Megalomaniacs like I use), you can boost that lvl 20 or 21 Arcane Surge even further which results in better mana regen (and also better damage).

Hey all, can I get some advice on where to go with my character? I'm getting into T16 maps for the first time ever and I'm getting destroyed. (Specifically with Sirius influenced mobs.) If something even gets near me, I'm one-shot. I know my weapons are still subpar, they're the only thing I feel like are still bad. Also, I need to invest in getting some good enchants on my items, but just the thought of running lab over and over makes me very sad. So, I can't tell if my squishy-ness is a specific gear/passive tree problem or if I just need to get better at flask management/maintenance of buffs/knowledge of mobs.

95% of all the improvements you could possibly make are already listed a few times in the last 50 pages of this thread, so reading back a bit should give you some good ideas.

At first glance I've noticed the following things:

- Redo the start of your tree around the Witch to take the Intelligence nodes on the left side instead of the cast speed nodes.
This will make Tempered Mind more usuful + will free up points for more effective nodes
- Get a 'Pure Talent' jewel with corrupted blood immunity if you have the currency.
This will take care of death by bleeding, which is really annoying.
- Check if you still need the +30 strength and +30 dexterity nodes
- Get a Large Cluster Jewel with at least Disorienting Display and Scintillating Idea as notables. Especially the blind from Disorienting Display will help you survive.
- Get the Suffix 'Of Iron Skin' on your granite flask.
This will help you deal with physical damage.
Though be sure to play piano with your flasks, because the game is balanced around using your flasks all the time.
- Get 2 weapons with at least +100 mana on each.
- Get a Crown of the Inward Eye with a 21% roll.
- Use divine orbs on you Cloak of Defiance to get as close to 150 mana as possible.
- Get %mana quality on your amulet, and try to get an upgrade with more % increased mana (the other rolls are great)
- Get 20% quality on your support gems linked to Arc
- If you're having mana regen problems, consider going for a belt with %mana recovery on it (or/and a Watcher's Eye if you have the currency)
- get the 70% mana regen enchant on your boots

The following options are also possible, but deviate from Enki's build:
- Get Omeyocan boots and swap out the Onslaught flask for a Quartz Flask

- Get The Anima Stone for an extra golem; they get buffed like crazy wioth our Ascendancy
- Respec from Master of Destruction to Bastion of Elements for more surviveability
- get the Agnostic and swap your health flask for an Atziri's Promise

Only do this after you have immunity to corrupted blood though!
