Please excuse me if there already has been an answer to this but... how good is this build for delving? I wanna try to make some currency by farming fossils and so on...

Mostly different gear alternatives. Things like this build has queen of the forest, the other one has cyclopean coil... but neither are 100% mandatory it's just author's preferences what they're comfortable running with.

In a broad sense, his is more HC geared. His damage is much lower than mine with a weaker top end, and he has worse clear speed despite running a CA setup. I imagine his Serius (and any other boss with 20m+ HP) kills are quite slow in comparison. If you want the immunity route there's a much better way than bricking your belt slot in my opinion. A compromise can be made for something in the middle, but I'm thinking this league is going to feel kinda rough with low DPS. Anything below 3m is going to have a tough time with league mechanic on t16's if you're wanting to full clear; we'll see though when the league drops. I'm not sure if I'm going to league start with TR again, as I've done it for the past few leagues and might try something else. Will wait till notes drop to decide.
How exactly do you plan on playing this until you have the - mana cost rings, because there is no way you are going to sustain that much mana against bosses.

Enduring mana flask is a great mana sustain tool. If you don't want to sacrifice a flask slot you can use something like Vaal Clarity .
I see in your update you say none of the new jewels are worth it. These 3 caught my eye as its stressed that skill effect duration seems pretty strong for the build. Do you really think none of these will be worth it? I guess part of it is what else you get in the cluster with the small nodes leading up to them.

Wicked Pall
35% increased Chaos Damage
20% increased Skill Effect Duration

Tempered Arrowheads
Bow Skills have +10% to Damage over Time Multiplier
Bow Skills have 20% increased Skill Effect Duration
10% increased Duration of Ailments inflicted while wielding a Bow

Eternal Suffering
+5% to Chaos Damage over Time Multiplier
Chaos Skills have 30% increased Skill Effect Duration




Also, plan on running this as a league starter, any reason why you use the - mana rings instead of an enduring mana flask? Just convenience?

Hello

Trying to decide between this and ED+Cont to league start.

From what I learned, I enjoy the game if its smooth and I don't rip, and I guess that's why I enjoyed playing necro last league.

ED+Cont build states average leveling speed, tanky build and at most 2M DPS with 3ex+ investment.

This one seems tanky as well (is it comparable to ED?), fast leveling and promises around 4M.

Wouldn't want to choose poorly and not enjoy leaguestart. Can anyone share some experience on how both builds compare to each other?

I've played this build as a league started for multiple leagues now. For early bosses, I literally just don't care about mana and use Patient Reaper for map sustain and a vaal clarity for bossing. Bar a few 7-phase bosses, a vaal clarity will kill just about anything. It's also very easy to buy some early Praxix rings, or get a lower level craft from a crafter if you're playing a trade league.

That's not what I said. I said "none of them are good enough to brick your tree by themselves". They're good, but they aren't to the point that you just get a jewel with the right notable and call that 7 points. There's going to be a lot of viable options, hundreds realistically, but it isn't as simple as get X. You're going to need a good set of cluster jewels, not just a good notable.

Not sure what ED/Cont build you're looking at, but anecdotally it's way more expensive than three exalts to get 2m DPS as ED. Maybe if the build is using a blight set up as well, but that's a bit different. I haven't played ED super recently, though, so maybe someone can give you a better idea. Personally though, this league is seemingly going to reward higher DPS, and I'd be very weary of a build that tops out at 2m.

Realy bad build. 50c investment is not enough for yellow maps. Missleading title. would downtvote if possible.
