Roll level 20 maim with alteration orbs -> block attack mods -> Slam for +1 socketed gems -> craft quality to 6L -> multimod.

You can also Alteration spam for both +1 gems and level 20 maim on a blue base. Then imprint it -> regal -> annul the regal if it is a bad mod. (if you regal flat str its really good).

The craft is quite expensive, as the mods are rare.

When you say 'slam for +1 socketed gems', do you mean to regal it up from a blue quality in the hopes that you get that affix?

I'm at the point now currency wise where I can start this endeavor and am hoping for a bit of guidance to avoid wasting too much currency.

desecrate gem level doesn't matter anymore, since the spectre summoned now depends on the spectre skill gem rather than the corpse used. ^^

Last night I switched from a Femur with skellies to a Dancing Duo with no skellies and so far I'm liking this change.

Yeah a few pages back I was talking about this but no one seemed to care or notice. Dancing Duo is insane with the build and I think the chaos route could be really good too.

As far as Arakali's / Soulwrest / DD comparison. I like DD for the wither stacking. They attack like 20 times a second (multistrike) so on bosses withered will be maxed out all the time. Giving you a lot more damage especially when you are converting phys to chaos with the gloves. Also with Soulwrest you need to deal with corpses which slows you down. The goal is zoom zoom.

If you were the person who posted the T10 map clear video with DD, then yeah you were the inspiration for wanting to try DD. Thank you for posting it!

The only thing I don't like about DD playstyle is that I can't really stop to loot much. I had to change my loot filter to strict to keep everything moving and to keep the DD uptime. Also it feels a little unreliable for bosses without a couple Writhing Jars, but I guess I could probably keep a Femur on the weapon swap if need be.

I've never tried builds with Soulwrest or Arakaali's Fang but I can't imagine Phantasms from Soulwrest clear with anywhere close to the speed that Dancing Duos do. The spiders seem really interesting and I like that you don't need to constantly stop to resummon them. Would they be maintainable on boss fights?

Spiders are immune to dmg (in wiki).

First of all thanks for the guide, I enjoy playing that build.

If you slam with cannot roll attack mods is it only +1 that it can roll and nothing else? Cause this alone is 1ex for the cannot roll + 1ex for the slam.

died a few times in dangerous blight maps, I'm mapping very fast and safely, almost everything self-found (tabula included) and it's working like a charm even with random rares, I'm starting to make trades now that I have time.
I have a couple of questions:

- would femurs of the saint/ chober/ a +1 or +2 minion staff with 5 links be better than a tabula rasa?

- as a 6th link, is empower level 3 still better than maim/fortify? or should I keep maim until I have a level 4 empower to see a dps increase?

- can zombies maim with the maim support? or do we take it just because of the higher damage?

- also, I still see in the link section, Fortify as prioritized over Maim. Assuming we don't have a shaped mace with level 20 maim, do we still choose fortify over maim as a link?

- sorry if this question has already been answered of, I can't find it. Is Brutality support good? zombies don't deal elemental or chaos damage unless we got the triad gloves
