[3.11] Aquarism's Ice Shot [All Content]

So patch notes just went live.

some notable changes that may affect this build.

Bows can now roll a high-level suffix which cause them to fire 2 additional arrows. The existing Splintering mod can now appear on lower-level bows and is more common.

Death's Harp now grants +50% to Critical Strike Multiplier (from +100%). You can use a Divine Orb to ruin it, and any existing Death's Opuses.


Death Opus may no longer be BiS, cannot be sure yet. It seems like a rare bow would be better.

Shaper Influenced helmets can now gain "Nearby Enemies take increased Elemental Damage".


in conjunction with delve fossil mod "-9 to cold resistance" would be the next upgrade?

How bad is the DPS dropoff now that Opus got dropped from 100% crit -> 50%?

I think not that bad. Death's Opus is still viable. Simulated on POB now with the new one, the loss is 10.6% of damage.
In another hand, the new modifier (2 Additionnal arrows) can be a thing. Death's Opus might be not the BIS anymore versus a well crafted bow.
do you recommend this as a starter build after nerfs on fossil craft and bow? After patch notes ? And what about survivability on this build its hard to not die on end game content?

How about changes on fossils, its gonna rly hurt this build on early maps ?

Death Opus is still the best option for early stages of the league right?

Do you have time to go over the Cluster Jewels notables? Any thoughts?

Last league people had issues with single target damage at the early stages of the campaign, but clear can functiona well into red maps on a 4l. Deliruim seems to focus more on clearing contents and fast movespeed, so yes, this would be a nice started to do contents early on.

Fossil nerf does seem bad, making it harder to get -9 cold res, but thats about it.

Survivability is always an issue for evasion based character, even more with metamorph with huge crits, delirium should see less deaths.

Yeah man, the way fating works is that it retains the unchanged stats of the previous item (that's how legacy Frostferno's end up being +6 instead of +4), if you use the prophecy on a 150% Crit Multi Harp in Standard now it retains the 150% but if you Divine orb it, it'll goto the 50%

What should we look for bows-wise while leveling as league starter? Will definetely league start with your build, loving it

Buy the unique bow Roth's Reach at level 18. you can look for death's harp as well, upgrade to opus might not be worth if the prophecy is expensive.

rare base you just want attack speed crit chance and ele damage. End game BiS will most likley be a rare shaped harbinger bow with +2 arrows.
