Hey all, looking forward to league start with this build.
Never tried a trapper so I'm hoping to have some fun " Could you please elaborate more on 'expensive build'? I see it can get pretty expensive on min-maxing, but it can be expansive to, say, Sirus or U-elder farm? What you think it would be the investment required to that (currency wise or items wise). If it is expensive, ~40ex, to run t13~t14 maps, maybe it is not a really good league start then (I know league start can vary from people, there are people that l-start with int stack haha). Being expensive is related to trap builds being hyped on 3.15 (at least on l-start)? Maybe they are not as that on 3.16? āđāļāđāđāļāļĨāđāļēāļŠāļļāļāđāļāļĒ thoborges#4383 āđāļĄāļ·āđāļ 17 āļ.āļ. 2021 19:57:20

" People have very different opinions of whats expensive and whats budget, so it's hard to put a single word that matches everyone's expectation or definitions of those words in POE. For some players a build isn't a build unless you spend 10-20ex+, for others that's 50ex+ and some are looking at builds that cost just a few ex(with no 6Ls) Last league even with the global nerfs (3.15) I was comfortably farming A9 in gear worth 10-12ex. I killed first sirus in gear that was just a few ex max, then my end-game gear was around probably 15-16ex (i didn't use corrupted shavs, or bottled faith or any such big items that I usually do when playing a good league, since i was bored in 3.15 as trade was dead .. so I cleared the atlas, farmed A9 a bit and then quit, my gear is all on my character that you can see, DissentXTV_ex) The thing to note about this build is that you can pretty much customize it to your own likings when it comes to "power". As example, I was killing A9 easily yet my damage was only half of for example Vennto's in his 3.15 gear. So depending how much you play, the ceiling as to how far you can push the damage is only limited by what you want to put in, but you don't strictly need crazy gear to clear the end-game. a 6L shavs, the amulet, a shield with es-on-block recovery and decent ES gear on gear slots, that's what you need to clear the end-game. That being said, we're all waiting for the new skill-tree, so right now we're blind. āđāļāđāđāļāļĨāđāļēāļŠāļļāļāđāļāļĒ oestergreen#1184 āđāļĄāļ·āđāļ 18 āļ.āļ. 2021 04:52:07

They posted json version of passive skill tree. Some of the masteries are just sick.
Check reddit. Someone did nice work of extracting all of them and made it easier to read āđāļāđāđāļāļĨāđāļēāļŠāļļāļāđāļāļĒ Ankhain#4404 āđāļĄāļ·āđāļ 18 āļ.āļ. 2021 00:30:13

Is there a particular reason to go CI early in leaguestart except for the easier transitioning to LL?
Tinkerskin is about 50-100c at leaguestart, the mandatory LL gear (shavronnes wrapping and presence of chayula) about 200C and the latter one not really available super early on. Getting ES recovery on block shield with decent stats etc. is even more expensive. With the 3.16 changes Evasion gets buffed and blind for example is heavily nerfed, especially if you got no evasion. So investing in some evasion gearpieces early on before switching to CI later could be benefitial especially in leaguestart. Clearing about Tier 10 maps with a 5l Tinkerskin and otherwise dumbster tier life gear should be relatively smooth. And getting at least a couple maven passives to get flash breach etc. should really be boosting your income alot to buy good gear for red maps. So why switch to CI early on? |

Ouch to that trap damage. Really want to see final numbers to everything and hope build is still going to be a solid contender. Looking at this for league start.

" Are you sure thread of hope is already fully implemented? |

From what i looked at in a glance on Reddit is that yeah trap nodes had a lot of changes, but also a lot of the pathing has really changed, so even if damage is lost in one spot it might be made up elsewhere with an entirely new path. So its really hard to look at a handful of changes in the vacuum without seeing the full picture.
