Scion (Necro/Guardian/Deadeye), but I don't call it league starter because you need to buy Tailwind forbidden jewels. It could be rare/expensive for a few weeks!

You can grab duration on the tree as Guardian or Scion. There's quite a lot of it if you want.

This item is also trash, like before it was... In fact there is only 1 useful stat - 2 spectres, others are useless trash.
"Cannot have non-Spectre Minions" - this limits additional dps and defense so hard, what only maybe 5-6 (or even more!) additional spectres may overcome this restriction.

I was thinking about this... GGG nerfed monster density a long time ago, so there is a lot of empty space between packs. Sometimes my SRS can't find new monsters so they stop and I need to recast anyway. If the map is juiced, then they tend to die anyway :P Need to recast.

I made a test build for SRS Guardian. The playstyle is more active and quick. Zooming around and casting SRS when unleash is reloaded.

did anything change for the spiders in 3.19? is occultist still the best choice now that we can get unholy might on necro?

Bad point for bossing though : you'll have to recast more often, which also makes you more vulnerable.
On the other hand, it's a good option to play a minion/support build along friends.
For sure, guardian will be better suited for a skeleton build where they won't lack the duration (with new Alberon) and take profit of the defensive buffs.

So.. which ascendancy did you go for ?
Radiant/Unwavering faith for more defenses, Time of need, Harmony of purpose (with something to get profit of charges ?)

It will be nice item to throw on a spectre bank character, can then hold 2 more types of spectres.
