Only when you go for slower melee-attacks with less virulences resolute technique is valuable.

When you want high HoA-virulences above 70 against singletargets, attacks are too slow.

Better take fast spells, like guided cyclone - cwc - ball lightning of orbiting, for much higher damage.

do you have the pob for Phrecia?

any tips for leveling in phrecia? i am big noob but it seems like not having any auras as herald makes me pretty squishy.

also any tips on how to manage the transition between pconc and full herald? i am trying to upgrade now and with cult leader, invigorating portents, and pure agony my crawler doesn't seem to do enough damage especially to extra life mobs.

There are only two tabs for skills. One for the acts, one for maps and endgame.

Use the levelling gems, then later the gems shown in the legacy of phrecia-pob.

Changes in Legacy of Phrecia:

Use frostshield early. Use cwdt-immortal call or steel skin instead molten shell.

Embalmer gloves are great, but often a 5-link body armour or replica alpha howl helmet is a bit better until you get a 6-link body armour.

Yes, without auras don't miss all other defensive layers and sources of recovery.

Frost shield is very important.

Use the ghastly theater or apep`s slumber shield before aegis aurora.

The correct flasks-setup is important.

Vaal skeletons can be meat shields.

After the second lab Herald of Purity - Freeding Frenzy - Phantasms Support are the better meatshields.

Sorrow of divine recharges es with a lifeflask until aegis aurora is obtained.

Squeeze in cwdt-immortal call.

Use longer 1-2 recoupung-masteries (circle of life, infused flesh, etc.)

Ball Lightning of Orbiting, Ebers Unification, Ghastly Theater, Cold Iron Point and much other gear are priced nice cheap 1 fusing to 1 chaos.

After the third lab +25 HoA-virulences and getting ball lightning of orbiting the damage should be no more problem and you can balance into defences, recovery and qol.

So what do You think about the Widowhail + Rearguard version of the build?
I've tried to follow Your guide but is so overwhelmingly complex. And it feels a lot of information can be cut out. For example - why include like 10 possible virulence generation setups/skills instead of like two/three best ones?
I had lucky drop from sailing which ended up netting me 4 divs but I had no idea how to proceed with 5 socket voices costing around 3 divs each and overall very limited availabilty of the items listed in the guide itself made me jump to the bow side but I don't like the feeling of it.

I see that You started playing the event, how do You manage without convocation? Crawler is so dumb. Don't You feel squishy? Getting through campaing with HoA was one of the WORST experiences in my entire poe1 carrier.
