The last few weeks I've been excited for today. Excited for being able to read the patch notes and see what the effects are on my builds.

Thankfully, GGG is consistent. Consistent in lying about the gravity of their up-coming nerfs. Then going all-out in making sure they rip the guts out sections of the community.

What they're doing is nerfing everything that isn't shit, to make it as shit as all of their other worthless content. 90% of PoE's content is worthless? Let's nerf that remaining 10% so now they can choose from 100% of the content! THIS IS A BUUUUUUFF!

Oh, and melee? GGG fucking hate melee and have for many years. Every single league they either leave it gimped behind bows and spells with less damage, clear speed and requiring us to take more damage. Or they go all-out in nerfing it like they've done here. Melee build variety on poe ninja? 1 in the top 10! What the fuck is that!? Something that needs nerfing apparently!!!!

Why the frothing eagerness to take away 35% of melee's aura reservation efficiency over a few patches? Precision, reservation mastery and determination mastery. All critically important and all only a drop on an ocean planet of nerfs.
