and in my charplaner take ARC while you are lvling, and also look at your weapon, check out the vendors, Gear esp. our weapon are our biggest Bonus dmg soruces. Look for + Spell skill gems!
yes I follow your guide but the mana tempest spell cannot be used on any boss because I have to constantly dodge the attacks otherwise I get 3 shots.
I don't even have 500hp
I only loot stuff for other classes, I had several legendary, none for my class
it's tiring lol

Your charplaner still has Comet with cast on shock. It still uses Whisper of the Brotherhood. It uses Inspiration twice (on spark and mana tempest)
im still playing with Comet cast on shock(still trying it), and thanks inspiritaion got removed from the second gem! my mistake!

For act 2 boss you can constantly use mana tempest, its one of the secrets to kill the boss, use it when he does his telegraphed attacks, or just go in melee range tank all of his damage and melt him down xD

So is Arc now removed for the late game build? Strictly just spark? Even for bosses spark is better? I guess the orb of storms supports are helping out quite a lot at that point. I have comet on my cast on shock rn, should I replace comet with Arc on cast on shock?

it's tiring lol
Take this fight slow, learn his mechanics and try to dodge everything. Lightning Res is also a big help in this fight, mine was at 70% + the charm. I've only used Conductivity to debuff him and Arc for damage. It takes some time to get him down but it is relatively safe this way :)

What about bosses, manually change the skill and gems?
I do die so much more often as an elite will kill me with spark

I'm still using Comet, someone suggested to me swapping for lightning conduit, I did not try yet...
I started using Kitoko's Current Jewelled Gloves and it got much better, even the bosses gets Electrocution applied to them.
@Angren1991#0758 try to get one and see how it goes for you

did cast on shock with comet work for you ? i had a wand which gives me additional 80% to shock but the comet doesn' proc well, it proc like once very 10 packs of mobs
i gt better proc on cast on freeze with comet
