Regardless of whatever fix is implemented, we NEED the ability to reset the atlas to prevent future similar bugs from bricking our endgame for weeks on end. Just unrestrict the Atlas reset function. Let anyone use it so we can fix issues like this ourselves. We have MANY concurrent atlas bugs right now:
- Complete a map and don't get credit - Can't traverse new maps because of fog everywhere - Tower eats tablets and doesn't give bonuses - Ghost node connections that don't actually connect nodes - Connections showing that they lead to one node but they actually lead to a different one It is NOT just one bug. Any fix we get will not be 100% sufficient to prevent future issues. We NEED the ability to just reset the atlas ourselves so we have control over our endgame experience. And the atlas should not be infinite in the first place. Just let us finish an atlas and start a new one when we want. Infinite vs. finite atlas is only downsides with no upside. |

Oh my god, a three-week bug, and after taking a vacation, you didn't fix it immediately upon returning to work, that's unbelievable!

I have Bug 23/4/2025 until 28/4/2025. bug is still there. I can't play the map at all. :(

" I don't think its unreasonable to expect them to at least say SOMETHING in response to an issue thats been going on for 3+ weeks, especially after an employee specifically responded right after the thread was opened up for data that was provided by multiple people right away after. I also don't think its unreasonable to expect them to fix this sort of a bug after there have been similar issues after previous patches. Then there is also the rather quick response from GGG after the release of this season and the communities negative response to the patch. I'm fine with the longer time it takes to fix the bug given the nature of the holidays but the fact that this thread has 54 pages at this point and nothing has been said by ANY GGG member other than the initial ask for data is a bit unprofessional. All they would need to do is simply say "we are aware of the issue and appreciate the data regarding the issue. We have a possible solution in mind but given the holiday interruption we are unable to test and implement the fix as of yet." They do that and I would imagine most people would be happy that they at least acknowledged there is a huge problem that needs fixing. TLDR: All GGG would have to do is respond and say "we are testing a fix but the holiday is making progress slow." and we would at least be happy we were heard. |

" I'm starting to think this problem may be more serious than we imagine. If by what we are noticing about the bug is true and it affects everyone with a larger Atlas, this could mean that it can happen to all players in a certain point. So the problem could be in the core of what they used to make this "infinite" Atlas. So depending of what is happening behind the scenes, they may don't want to alarm the community shining light on this problem. They may be trying to fix it for good without telling anyone and we will only know about what is really happening when its totally fixed. |
