Map failed when disconnected from server with several portals left

When just entering a map there is a lot of network MS in the new instance and after a min or so the game is disconnected.

When directly logging back in the map is marked as failed even though there were serveral portals left to the instance (Noticed this on unique maps and citadels not sure if it affects normal maps too).

When the instance crashes I would suggest that the map is reverted to the state before it was started. It would also be a happy surprise if you would get your waystone back, for example still inserted in the map.

Edit: just played a yellow map and the same thing happened to me lost the waystone and the modifiers that were available on the map previously is gone, game lost connection on exiting the map through portal and I was sent to the login screen. after directly logging back in the map is gone.

This is very unfortunate and it gives me a unrewarding experience where I don't want to run maps with the fear of losing the waystones.

I am confident you will resolve this issue in the near future. Good job and keep making the game better!

same here. just started Copper citadel with 3 portals, got disconnected on second screen and map counts as failed after i logged back without any portals remain

Yeah EU servers are fked currently. Tried 3 maps and lost all of them and the content too....

noticed the same here. After "Abnormal Disconnect" from Server on a Map the progress on the Map is gone after logging back in and the extra-content is also gone. The Loot you have taken along the way is also gone and the Waystone. The Map is playable afterwards as if you have died on the map and need to retry it. Bug-Report ID is 3783139394. Pretty sure you guys can handle this in the near future. Thx and good grind further on.

just lost the map and all the loot I collected. if they delete all the items I collected as well and the XP why don't I get the waystone back? this is so f'ing stupid game design.

Same issue here, lost 3 maps due to disconnect with several "live" remaining. after disconnect the portals are gone and map failed
