PoE1 Kalandra league, regarded as the worst PoE1 expansion to date, peaked with 152k and after 23 days went to 50k. That's 2/3 of the player base gone.

Currently, 0.2 peaked at 246k and after 23 days went to 85k. That's almost 2/3 of the player base gone.

PoE2 is currently as bad as the worst PoE1 league in terms of retention. If you think that's a good look... lol.

What exactly are you fighting for here, almost all of your post say you dont like the most popular ARPG's meanwhile you're championing a early access patch that seemingly a majority of players don't like.

I think that says more about your opinion than it does about the state of the game, wouldnt you agree?

This is a great post. And it goes the same for all the souls games they claim to require meaningful combat. If you know the game mechanics it literally doesn't require much. It's like they've never heard of the BONK lol

Once you stop sucking at almost any game they become more of a math problem than anything.

I have the impression that you are slightly overinterpreting what is written on Steam. There is that of all the recently posted reviews (~17k), most of them are negative. So we don't know what the "silent" people think about the current state of the game. To assume that they are all satisfied is far-reaching optimism.

Do you think tencent care about the feelings of players who don't actually spend money on Mtx while their player base that does is evaporating. Because when that meeting happens GGG leaves their delusions at the door.

This isn't some passion project, not sure why people are treating it like such. This is a for profit live service game owned by the biggest gaming conglomerate known for axing projects when they become unsustainable.

Ok bro....First of all you absolutely can outmechanic content in D2 as long as a certain basic threshold of dps/sustain is fulfilled - just like in ANY other game. You can evade projectile attacks and position yourself cleverly to fight at choke points to not get swarmed, etc. With Bosses you can also kite them down, avoiding their big attacks (even for Duriel you can work with minions/mercs to draw his attention away, etc. or stutter step).

Second, I challenge you to show me that footage of a fresh Nightmare Sorceress immediately zooming through the entire Nightmare difficulty and then straight up zooming through Hell difficulty to the cow level. And ofc without RMT's or alts to trade to gear up optimally pls as we talked about new players and first time campaign players. Not only do you not have the FCR to zoom with teleport (meaning you will get stun-chained and killed while doing it), you also don't have the mana/mana regen to keep casting it, the sustain/resistances to get past most enemies (they will 1 or 2 shot you) OR the damage to kill everything in one hit. Even with optimal gear that would be hard to pull off. I'm eagerly waiting for your footage.

This is MrLama. The greatest D2 speedrunner of all time. A player whose skill and knowledge of the game exceeds yours and mine by a factor of 500.000 or more. This is what happens in most cases when he's trying to zoom with Sorceress: He DIES. And sure he sometimes makes it and gets close to or even sets a new WR. But he often DIES. And he is the pinnacle of D2 players and not your average Joe. We were talking about the difficulty for NEW players. What do you think happens when they (or you for that matter) even attempt to zoom through the D2 campaign without grinding 10 levels in advance? Guess what, they die.

And out of the 80%, 90% are those chinese and korean rmt companies running bots and squatting at hideout/trade site doing price fixing and profitting from that.
