CROSSBOW play style and 7 points that Devs need to focus on them!

He's weak compared to the others. I also went through almost all the content, including the arbiter, playing as a witch hunter, but it's obvious that of all the crossbow skills, only a few are more or less playable. Yes, with some imagination and understanding of the mechanics, you can make a good build, but it's more likely to be not because of the crossbow, but rather in spite of it)

Like fully agree the Ascendancy needs tuning but you guys acting like it's completely broken and useless tell me you either haven't played it at all and are just borrowing your opinions from elsewhere or if you did play it you didn't give it much of a chance.



Yes becouse you use a specific Ascendancy class and combinations bro. That is the whole thema from the beginning of early access. Fixing balance so that anyone can have equally weighted options. I know that you did it becouse i saw yesterday one guy with spear clearing a whole map in 20 sec. I lied sory i couldn't reach him to see him becouse he was so fast, fastest than flash hero! That is not Jonathan's vision of course.

Я бы все-таки не сравнивал с копьем. Копье - это сломанный кусок говна, который внедрили в игру специально, чтобы успокоить любителей нажимать на кнопку "убей всех".

Tactician is one of the least played Ascendancies. I'm running a build I made up on the fly in a kit worth less than 10D why tf are you talking to me like I'm blasting some OP meta comp?

Do you know what impact that has on my ability to enjoy the game? It's not any because I literally don't give a flying f because I don't waste my time comparing myself to others. I'm fully capable of just playing the goddamned game and deciding for myself whether or not I'm having fun.

Sounds like they pretty much nailed the design then.
his mainly concerns team play, with single player play, of course, it doesn't matter who, where, or how they play. But in the team, the difference will be noticeable. Well, it's not about tactics, but rather about the crossbow. For example, I don't understand many crossbow skills, as far as I'm concerned, more than half of them are just useless. Well, there are other disadvantages of this class of weapons, which have already been discussed a lot. If it's not the weakest weapon in the game, then it's definitely one of the weakest.

well no, Reload passives are huge (I think they total 90%?)
and not all skills benefit from attack speed but benefit from reloads (like high velocity rounds or shotgun blasts)

In all the RPG games I've played so far, damage of Crossbows was triple the damage of the Bows. THIS explain resasons why the reload time is necessary in the Crossbow. But here the damage is very low and even after buffs i didn't see any serious change.

Devs do buffs with a spoon meter. Come on people, statistic numbers showing the reality. Balance was s...t from the begining and remained same to specific classes and weapons.

Personaly i dont have problem with reload time but with nonexistent movement ability though. Why other Chars allowed to run like Flash hero while using spear or Jedi weapons and not Crossbow users???

Im dissaponted one more time from Devs.

Crossbows literally gained 50%+ damage from even the lowest perk tiers.
you can get 300-700 damage crossbows

also weapon damage doesn't always determine damage because the skills have their own modifiers to damage which in most cases are pretty damn high on crossbows.

"in all RPG games" doesn't matter here by the way, because this isn't those games.
The biggest issue I have with crossbows is that some skills just don't work well without "loads 1/2 additional bolts" mod on the crossbow, but the mod has extremely low mod weight

This is why most of the 1 bolt crossbow skills are quite unpopular in general. The shard scavenger change was a bandaid solution, but it's not good enough

Common Crossbow should have at least 200-500 damage. The rares one should reach at least 1200 damage.

This damage isn't a big deal compared to other weapons that stuck any passive points and reach 50k dps.
