CROSSBOW play style and 7 points that Devs need to focus on them!
Xbows need a massive buff.
I tried to make it work with pathfinder to run'n gun full speed. Used "OP" deepest tower to get like 5x more dmg. Used glass cannon doryani's prototype with -170% lightning. NOW it's playable and fun blasting everything with galvanic shards point blank but... normal LS build still clears faster haha. And they get to choose their off hand and have normal 75% lightning res. So yeah, xbows need like 2x more dmg baseline. |

The nonexistent reload time during dodge roll is the most annoying thing in Crossbows. This only made me quitting this play style. It is 2 time punishment from Devs. One the reload mechanism that need extra passive points and of course only for crossbows becouse bow players are kings. And the second punishment, the extra wasted time during dodge.
Great!!! And we talking about quiver slot for Crossbows... Devs ain't gonna give s.t to us as always. |

Because then that's the only time anyone would ever reload which would be functionally equivalent to just not having Reload which would just make Crossbows goofy looking Bows. Both mechanically and thematically the ability to reload during a dodge roll completely defeats the purpose of Crossbows as a distinct class of weapon. " Why don't Bow users have reload time??? I don't get it. Are they privileged? Yes of course I want to use the reload time on my Crossbow when dodging. It saves me time and increases my SURVIVAL, but that also requires skill. It's not just press a button, you have to find the perfect moment in the hell of the monster's attack. " 4 - You obviously didnt realize that Crossbows are like 2 handed maces and Bows are like 1h maces with a shield. Just look at the base damage and amount of stats it can roll, bows can reach +3 to skill, Crossbows reach +7 |

Crossbow skills needs to be buffed. Increasing Xbow base damage won't fix the problem. Most support gems can't even let you go high crit play. Mostly you get A and you lost B. Kinda lose-lose situation. What i suggest ;
1- Buff crossbow's base skill multiplyer (attack damage) 2- Increase number of bolts on proper skills such as ex ; Galv Shards - 16 bolts, Explosive Shot 5 - Permafrost Bolts - 4 etc. 3- If xbow user presses reload and dodge rolls , reloading should be continue. 4- Increase Xbow's abilities AOE by %50 or more (for everything) 5- Reduce mana cost of abilities and make some gems Xbow only that gives High Crit & Crit Bonus ( like you did on Spears & BOWs ex Rhoa mount etc ) 6- While shooting Xbow user is slowing way too much fix that. Either slow user lightly or give some talent & gem (not like Mobility Gem Support , its weak) Finally this my kind of question ; If you can use BOW while mounting Rhoa how come you can't mount it while you have Xbows? I m pretty certain Xbows are way easier to use more than Bows if you are riding a mount. |

"qqq This and ONLY THIS with Rhoa pet shows clearly Devs intentions about Crossbow players future. Ιt is not based on any logic. It shows how express Devs their feelings about this type of weapon and overal Mercenery class. Besides these numbers in statistic show clearly the unbalanced classes that remaining the same from patch 0.1.0. I don't expect anything from patch 0.3.0. I'm dissaponted and it's time to stop playing until serious changes will make the game fun and balanced. |
