I don't think a game where I have half a dozen instant death balls on the screen wherever I go and whatever I do is a game I want to play. That's my feedback. Yours is "Oh well I play ES and have twice as much effective life as you because of it, and I'm fine tanking them". Well good for you. |

CHAOS DOES DOUBLE DAMAGE TO ENEGRY SHIELD.

You have twice as much ES as I have health, and I am desperately stacking health.
And then you also have health on top of that. See, ES might only work with 50% efficiency against chaos damage, but my defense (evasion) works with 0 percent efficiency. That's why you only have half as much wasted stats, and you can more easily afford chaos res on your gear. |

By the way, I didn't mention it but I *also* have 16% damage taken from mana before life. And I *still* die from a single volatile plant. I am *desperately* stacking effective life.

I'm perma low-life. I got 500hp.
And yes, you still die because of your lack of chaos resistance- even with some dmg going to mana. And the volatile cores do aoe dmg- evasion does nothing for that and its also my primary defense. I can assure you the margins for attributes/res are razor thin on my build and I can still get chaos res. Oh I can also get chaos res. Just takes between 20 and 60 div unless I want to be below elemental res cap or lose 10% of my HP.

That reminds of this weird video Youtube recommended me today. "How to make a 800 dps spear" or something like it.
Never seen something so stupid, the person was throwing currency away like it's candy, chewing through omens of whittling like they are exalts. Halfway through the video they had an add for an RMT site though, that's where it started to make sense. |

By the way I used exactly 2 omens of whittling, ever.
The first one upgraded a modifier from T1 to the exact same modifier T2. The second one upgraded the very same mod, to... the exact same mod T3. Yeah I'm never crafting again. Trading is so much more cost-effective. |
