Player power is so high that it is ruining the game. 1-button screen clear is BORING.

Please show me the data that people arent playing because of zoom zoom.

They arent playing because the devs F up on .2 there are a lot of people I know personally still angry and too stubborn to come back just from anger from the initial .2 patch notes. Out of my group of about 6 peeps Im the only one still holding on. Heck it was one of them talked me into buying this.

The vision is why so few are playing....not zoom zoom.

Completely agree, 1 button screen clear should simply be gutted the moment it appears in the devs radar.
It just degrades the experience, if people want to play poe1, they can play poe1

And I guess no need to mention the stupid Lightning Spear or huntress skills in general that are just broken.


Where is the meaningful combat?
Who is the target audience for this gameplay? Monkeys?
What does the game even requires of me, to push one button to finish the game?

Mark and Jonnathan in 0.2 live interview clearly said that if there is a build killing pinnacle bosses in seconds, it deserves a prompt nerf. Why there were no nerfs to this?

Why is PoE 2 abandoning it's direction and going for the "candy shower" just to shut up the kids/streamers crying to get the instant gratification and have all obstacles removed?

This isn't a game anymore, it's a walking and loot picking simulator, nothing else is required of me, no challenge.

And here is the major problem:
How do you attempt to challenge these builds?
- More one shot mechanics
- More boss invulnerable phases
- More on death effects
Stuff that everyone hates, but that's the only thing that can even remotely touch these builds, but will negatively impact every other build and player in the game.

The more player power you give to players now, the harder it will be to take the player power down in next patch. Just like giving a candy to a kid and then realizing it's not good for them so you need to take it back.

I understand some people want to feel stupidly OP and they enjoy that kind of gameplay, all right. PoE 1 is already like that, go play that game.

Stay true to your initial PoE 2 plans.
Don't get forced by few crying streamers wanting to push-out just another BROKEN BUILD video to get more views.

Player power needs to be nerfed down... by a lot.


That's why I quit this game. 90% of the players run with a thunder spear and kill the entire map at the touch of a button.

Well in .3 what you complain and poke fun at players that jump on the band wagon.... in .3 it will be destroyed. Huntress/Amazon will be replaced (just like the monk in .1) by the new OP build.

Face it people like fun and GGG balances boss health and content surrounding OP builds they know of so guess what all other builds end up suffering as a result.

You speak with unproven cliches. No one has done any research on the "majority of players." There are many challenging games with a lot of positive reviews. As I understand it, this game was also originally conceived as a difficult one. But unfortunately, it's getting more and more boring and one-button.
Even in those games minimalist approach is usually the baseline. Difficulty usually relies on timing, while increased input complexity during the timing windows generally is supposed to decrease the encounter length. The problem here is that, since the start, increasing input complexity never led to actual "meaningful" increase in DPS. Obviously I'm not going to break my fingers in three places just for a 15% DPS increase, if executed flawlessly, with good RNG. I'm just gonna switch my brain off, dodge roll and hold LMB, hit RMB on cooldown and maybe, just maybe, slap the scrollwheel if I'm about to fall asleep. If I'm going to play piano, I expect to receive a symphony.

yeah companies do not research ways to increase profits.
Just wanted to chime in and say that incinerate lich feels like a good investment/payoff for a build. It's not obnoxious like LS, but has a decently high damage cap and lets you focus on surviving the chaos while your ignites melt the screen. When you put 400+ divs into the build it starts really ripping, but none of this nonsense where fullparty pinnacle bosses disappear in a few seconds. You also get IMO the best defenses in the game, so it's quite fun to farm on. If players want to chase lvl100, some level of high defense and clear reliability needs to exist in the game.

Too few builds check these boxes without being obnoxious about clearing. I think more defensive options (fix armor!!!!!) would go a long way.
