Namelocking: why it sucks more in PoE2 than in PoE1

Still playing with it.

I had the no move option turned on - to match POE 1 and what I assumed I wanted with stopping movement as soon as I pressed shift. Not knowing of the namelocking.

I turned it off earlier and have played my ice sorcerer a bit - it seemed like I was having a bit more trouble getting cold snap to connect.

I'll likely turn the option on again tomorrow and play some more. Interested to find out if it seems to apply to my play style (which, of course, doesn't mean it would or would not affect someone else).

you can't disable name locking

I believe they were referring to testing "cast without moving" disabled vs enabled, as I talked about in the OP.
