14.300 players only
It's 11:00 am central Europe, i just saw the players on POE 2 in the website. Hoping for something good to happen soon , i myself haven't been able to increase even a 1% of the bar you need to level up with my minion build level 96, it's understandable that people will stop playing when so many builds where destroyed the way they did with 0.2. I'm the last one out of more than 15 people in my friends list playing and i hardly play anymore but i love the game, nerving things the way it was done to such an extreme was a big mistake and the results are 14 k people playing. Hoping things will change because i see a lot of good will from GGG to fix things. Just please make every class playable or the next season will have less than 10 k players and this is a great game

I've got the Twitch live feed on in the background. 45 minutes until the livestream starts, and there are already 16,000 people in the chat.
Don't worry about numbers. There are a ton of fans, just waiting for GGG to deliver gold. Maybe it's this month, maybe it's a year from now. The game will eventually be fine. |

" What part? Eventual success? That's near-guaranteed. They are well capitalized and they know what good systems look like. Full release of PoE2 in under 2 years. |

Who cares
This is the best ARPG in my opinion, its not a PVP game why do people keep complaining or feel the need to complain about the amount of players. Less players doesnt mean anything in this type of game, aslong as GGG make money to keep the game running i dont care if its 1000 players only. P.S
I am a Dog and i will just drop my load and leave on to the next post |

" It kind of does matter though when the game has trade that is heavily required. Even with 100k players the trade and items are bad, I can't even imagine what its like now. I stopped playing months ago, .2 was not to my liking at all. It simply wasn't fun for me and trading is an absolute nightmare, I'm glad you are enjoying it though. |

" Are we in the same universe now? The developers have killed several classes in the current expansion completely. Half of the jewelry tips have been removed. Which were part of most rare builds. In fact, they destroyed part of the jewelry economy. And now they are simply destroying the second part of the economy, which was tied to the breach rings. Are we really in the same universe? Or is it a matrix failure and you're talking about some other developers?. They didn't even try to play their game. And when we tried, we ran into very specific "problems". And they decided that removing the white rings was a great idea for an already dead economy. Content Update 0.2.0 -- Path of Exile 2: Dawn of the Nerfs

" I'm talking from years of experience of delivering large software projects. You appear not to be. If you insult people less, you might be able to listen to perspectives that are different from your own. |

" It doesn't take a genius to figure out the bunch of mistakes that the development team has made in recent months. I understand that in 10 years they will correct today's mistakes. After all, they're not idiots either. But there are not so many mistakes that the loser sees in their project. And at the same time, they are not seen by the development team. It doesn't sound positive. Today's patch is a clear proof of that. Many years later, they came up with the idea to hire a simple analyst who provided them with a lot of information in 2 weeks. But they never thought of hiring a person who understands game economies. They think that their current problem is some minor balancing flaws and that purple plants are killing someone there. But in fact, the economy is killing the game. And steps to solve these problems should be a higher priority than the nerf of some purple bubbles. And this has been happening since the very start of early access. I really like the game. If this were not the case, I would not be sitting on the forum and writing angry posts. Perhaps because of my theme, they added a branch to the talent tree. And that's why I'm writing about the problems of the game, rather than being happy about some minor weakening of some mechanics. The more global problem of the game lies much deeper, and I would not want developers to look for it for 10 years. Content Update 0.2.0 -- Path of Exile 2: Dawn of the Nerfs

Making mistakes and learning from them is normal, especially when under great stress, and working at a scale you hadn't worked at previously. Growth is bumpy, not smooth. Example: adolescence. There are plenty of things in the game to be annoyed at, but there's nothing to worry about.
