Weird idea: Disallow Exalted Orb trading

Honestly the overlap of crafting mats being the primary trade currency is just weird. While I do agree that in a fully free trade economy you should be able to trade whatever you want for whatever you can get, it surprises me that there isn't any legitimate currency other than gold (which you can't trade with).
My point went over your head. If you have to spend half of your dev time making sure the economy doesn't explode then you have less time to work on the actual game play.

The current developments in poe 2 prove that this is not the case.
With that being said, you sff people would do well to remember you are but a tiny minority and should already be grateful the game is still, always, being made very viable for you lot.

What developments are you speaking of. If i go to work and just rearrange all day instead of being productive i wouldn't have a job very long. glad we waited 4 months for sprint.

I used to like trade league until the youtube currency farming strategy brain rot came to be.

really wish i could craft a half decent weapon that has 498 damage instead of 497 damage.

What if GGG never spent any dev time on trade and kept it like the old d2 trading where you had to use chat to trade? would you be asking for more dev time being spent on trade?

My point is. Lets say there are 1000 man hours spent a week at GGG developing poe2. Then lets say there are about 500-600 spent making sure the economy wont suffer in their changes. that leaves 40-50% of the actual dev time spent working on the game. So you get 1/2 the content you could have had.

which as a byproduct shuts off play with others.
And I could be wrong but I don't believe SSF has any changes to drop chance meaning that yes trade still hampers SSF.

I'm not anti trade but lets not pretend it has no impact.

You just personally hate trading, the vast majority like playing POE 2 because it has free trading and I'm a SSF player myself but clearly not for the same reason as you. I played SSF just because it was a challenge.

Removing trading in the game would be the final nail in the coffin of this game and it would instantly die and break into shambles. There wouldn't be people to be mad in the forums, it would be such an atrocious move the game would simply cease to exist.
