Endgame has too many monsters that die too fast. Zooming is boring.

There is no combat in Endgame, this is slowly turning into a "bullet hell" type of a game. Its really sad to observe a masterpiece game which it was at launch, being slowly turned into a PoE 1 style that is enjoyed by a very small (and loud) playerbase.

- What challenge remain if everything dies to a one screen-wide explosion?
- What reason do I have to create a new character as it can't possibly do more than that?
- Gameplay is so boring as there is nothing required from me, just run and click once, pick up loot, repeat. Bosses are melted in 5sec on a noob-gear and I don't even have all Ascendancy points (currently 6/8) as I simply don't need them to run 6-mod T15 maps.

Every single season I go through campaign, enjoy the progress, enjoy the challenge and once I hit endgame, I am swarmed by monsters that melt on one click and I lose all reasons to play anymore as that is pretty much completed game. There is nothing more to beat or achieve.

This is not build-specific.
You can check videos of people melting T15 on one click with lame gear within 48hours of new league launch.

TLDR - Keep the zoom zoom in PoE 1. Make combat engaging in PoE 2.

turn on hc ssf mode.

That doesn't change much.
There is still the same huge monster density in HC SSF and abilities are the same, one button screen-clearing.

The game absolutely forfeits on any combat and the clearly most efficient way is to explode everything as fast as possible, which gets boring extremely quickly.
I'm confused. At launch the meta was herald chaining screen clears. Did you not see that that?

im confused what you're even asking for... when someone plays an arpg that is generally what they want.

This feels like someone going to the cod devs and complaining that the guns kill people too fast.

It's really funny that you mention that, considering the most recent Battlefield test had this exact issue, in fact.

"There’s been a wave of feedback from players in the latest Battlefield 6 open beta about dying unusually fast—what’s known as a Time to Death (TTD) issue.

Players reported getting eliminated in just a few bullets, sometimes without clear hit indicators.

Some even described “super bullets” or dying in what felt like a single frame.

The issue was widespread enough that the lead designer, Florian Le Bihan, publicly asked players to submit video evidence to help the dev team investigate."

Moreover, I've seen a friend of mine play the beta too, so I can confirm it.

yea but thats a bug or network issue not a complaint about 4 or 5 bullets killing an enemy as compared to say like 20 which is what i was trying to get at.
Although I'm not in the endgame just yet, I do find the game too easy right now. Too much density and bosses die overwhelmingly fast. 0.4 needs to lower the meme density and up the challenge, especially on bosses which feel like bigger minions right now.

Playing a custom non-meta build, all self found gear.

It's still not a good argument...

If you consider it a bug in Battlefield, why do you consider the same kind of interaction a good feature in PoE2? It's origins really don't matter when the end result is essentially the same.

Do you think the people that play battlefield care if it's a bug or if it's intended? It really doesn't matter.

Yeah, you're right. It's called an _action_rpg, not a one-click-clear-screen-rpg.
