I am in Sydney, I have been able to get around this by using a VPN to shift to Auckland and then use the Auckland server. I tried going back to Australia afterwards and it locked up again - but staying in Auckland seems to be ok - just worse lag.

I was having the stuck on loading screen issue on the Australian server. I switched to New Zealand server and I'm able to play the game although it takes a while to load. Aus player

Adding my voice to this. I’ve gone as far as reinstalling my OS, Steam, and the game twice now with zero luck. If a full system wipe doesn't fix it, this is definitely a backbone or server-side issue on their end. Hopefully, they see how much effort we're putting in just to try and play.
I’ve gone to absolute extremes to fix this and nothing works. I’ve already: 1. Reinstalled my entire OS and the game/Steam twice. 2. Cleaned Shader Cache and increased Nvidia Shader Cache to 100GB. 3. Switched between DX11 and Vulkan. 4. Disabled Multithreading. 5. Set Windows Power to Max Performance. 6. Tried the latest GPU drivers AND rolled back to previous versions. 7. Added POE2 to Firewall/Security exclusions. The most telling part: If I switch to the NZ or US realm, it works exactly once. I can run one map, but as soon as I try to load the next area, it gets stuck again. I have to keep swapping realms just to get a single instance to load. This is clearly a server-side routing or instance-handshake issue for AU players. Please fix this ASAP, it’s incredibly frustrating to deal with after troubleshooting this much." |

Yeah bump having the same problem, Auckland servers are unplayable imo

Coming up on 24 hours, no response.
can someone at least turn the servers off and on again. Maybe make any kind of official response at all...even just to recognise that there is a problem. been using the Cali server with 8x my usual ping...it's killed me a couple of times (skill issue for sure, but still, feels really bad). |
