" Not trying to be mean, but yee those items aren't great. :P Which also means they're easy to find upgrades for! I'd say just run maps and ID just about everything and focus on life mana and cap your resistances. If you're having trouble with t1 maps, go run blood aquaduct for a while, you might even collect a tabula rasa from the humility div cards there. How do the medium cluster jewel passives Master of Fear and Wish for Death work exactly? The only time I'm cursing enemies is when I use Wave of Conviction, right? So basically it's mainly for bossing or other harder monsters?
So would getting a ring (or on another item) with "Curse enemies with Conductivity on hit" mod be a good idea? Then we could change our skill gem for another hex like Temporal chains or such? Could anyone bounce feedback on the above? Thank you! :) |

Hey there! Very new to this game and found this post to be very informational. Started a a witch a few days before 3.14 hit and decided I didn't want to roll another and wanted to try something different. I'm following a guide for CoC Ice Nova Inquisitor. In the leveling section of that guide it mentions just using this guide for the leveling portion and respecting a bit towards end game. Acts 1 through 2 were a breeze and most of Act 3 was as well except Dominus. I've noticed Act 4 is alot tougher and I feel like my damage output just isn't cutting it anymore ever since I switched Archmage from HoT. I'm thinking my gear is all out of whack. Can anyone guide me on what kind of gear I should be looking out for. I know I'm supposed to keep 75% res to most elements, but should that be my main focus? What else should I be looking for. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!

" It might also be that RF applies the conductivity curse to nearby enemies. But ye, basically it's what you're saying. Problem with additional curses is that by default we can only apply 1 curse at a time. So you'd have to invest in a "you can apply an additional curse" somewhere (amulet corruption, amulet annointment, a rare chest piece that has it as an affix for example). I'm not sure it's worth it. |

" Lmao, that sounds so lazy by that guide's writer, but I can see why he did it. I've stopped trying to cap my resses during the campaign, but for a newer player I can certainly recommend it. Try to find gear which has + max mana and if possible look out for increased mana regen rate. The initial switch to archmage is the roughest part, since your mana is at that point still at its worst, but you rely on it all of a sudden. |

" Will do. So I shouldn't be to concerned about Evasion or Armor or other affixed, more treat them as a bonus if it's on there. I have a feeling my damage output is lacking because my passive don't line up with the arc witch tree since I'm not a witch and ultimately following a tree that benefits another build later on. |

" I don't want to derail this too much from Enki's guide. But your guide mentioned to respec in the end you said. So initially try to path as Enki describes and when you swap to your build use orbs of regret to follow that builds passive tree. |

Hello, sorry for newbie question:
I'm using Arc setup from Enki's and when I put Righteous Fire together (B=B=B=B) with Wave of Conviction + Hextouch Support + Conductivity then Wave of Conviction cast debuff Vulnerable to Fire only ! But Arc setup use lighting damage so I think it would be better to have Vulnerable to Lighting ? So I'll use item with four sockets but only three linked (B=B=B B) and put Righteous Fire to unlinked socket, correct ? Thanks Enki for this guide and build. Its my second witch build and its great! The biggest problem I had to get Cod, which is so expensive but when i get it the real fun has begun.

So I just got the implicit "1% damage taken recouped as mana" on my transcendent mind.
I see that watcher's eye can have "% damage taken recouped as mana while affected by Clarity". I don't see Enki advicing to play this anywhere in his guide, even in the watcher's eye priority.
